I am writing to formally express my ongoing dissatisfaction with the service at this Wendy’s locations. After four separate incidents of poor service, I feel compelled to escalate this matter to corporate. During my most recent visit, I ordered a 10-piece chicken nugget combo and specifically requested that the food be made fresh. At the payment window, I was charged for my meal but not given a drink. When I asked for the lemonade that comes with the combo, the employee stated I needed to pay for it separately—despite it clearly being part of the combo I ordered. I was charged again without explanation, and she was dismissive, unprofessional, and rude when I questioned it. I also asked for no ice in my drink (twice), but it was served with ice anyway. Additionally, I was not provided a receipt until I requested it, which felt evasive. To make matters worse, the food was not fresh despite my request, which contradicts Wendy’s supposed made-to-order standard.
I spoke with a manager named Mike, who offered no real resolution. He refused to refund the overcharge and said he needed district manager approval. When I asked for the corporate number, he instead gave me his DM’s number (Lucero P), who didn’t answer and whose voicemail was full. Shockingly, neither Mike nor the DM knew how to reach Wendy’s corporate, which raises concerns about accountability and transparency. I’ve also visited this store twice before only to find it closed early—again, a failure in reliability and professionalism. This is the fourth disappointing experience I’ve had with this location. The pattern of unprofessional behavior, lack of customer care, and substandard food service needs to be addressed. Drive through guy teenager was polite and very helpful, meh??.. let me tell ya ....Ordered 4 biggie bags and a salad for my children it was a little late for dinner but that's my bag ! Lol... I received my order raced home only to find the food was horrible. Not tasting, I wouldnt let me kids eat what they gave us. I wouldn't eat it if I had to! There was enough hard pieces of what I assume to be chicken nuggets?? To fill one of the orders and three maybe four fry's in each small fry buns were hard and meat was cold mind you this costed me a whooping 40 dollars! Oh, I added two frosty shakes... Very quickly put in all back into the bag and raced back . Only to be told no refunds and but they would redo the order. Ok they took my food except the frostys. And threw it into the trash and told me to pulls forward 5 min later the manager brings me my food. Doesn't apologize I immediately start to look into the bag ... Nothing changed I asked the manager (Brendan) if he just pulled the old food I just gave him and put in new bags?, he just looked at me! I demanded a refund, Brendan said sure! “But it's gonna come out the young guy at the windows pay ! I couldn't believe my ears. I'm already talking to corporate. Please do yourself a favor do not eat here. This place can't be trusted for quality food service the manager Brendan is extremely obese native American that wears shades at night and to talk to customers lol... Update: Went to wendys. Door was locked. I called and the lady...I think her name was Barbara asked me if she could help me. I told her the story and she was appalled as I was. She sent a message directly to the GM since she had just left. (Love her, she actually helped me). A few hours later the GM calls me. I tell her what happened and was just as appalled. She said that the employees know to give out her number and said she will talk to ROSE and re train her. She is also going to find out how that packet got in the food and make sure employees are acting correctly with that. She is issuing the refund. I actually got helped! Thank you GM!
Original: I found a packet in my children's food bag. I went in to get it fixed. ROSE decided she didn't want to help at all. Refused to give me even the most basic of phone numbers, Refused to make it right, Refused to do a refund. Then told me if I wanted to I can talk to the gm Sunday, wouldn't give me a time on when they would be there. Then decided to tell me to calm down and not to be angry after all this. Because she didnt bag it, she didnt have to deal with it i guess. What a worthless manager and an insanely unhealthy store. I will let everyone I know to never go to a wendys again. Anywhere. Corporate has been notified and I am trying to get in touch with a health inspector. If my kids get sick because this was all over their food....wouldn't do a basic thing for 8 dollars...
