Dashers beware picking up here. I picked up a Doordash order around 9:05 pm on Sun 3/9. Every employee saw me standing at the register waiting to be acknowledged, but no one said anything, not even to ask me to hang on. I waited several minutes until they finished their drive thru orders and the girls started having a personal conversation, that is when I interjected that I was waiting to pick up a Doordash order. One employee told me she assumed I was waiting on a Doordash because I had my phone out like that makes it okay to ignore someone. I was not on my phone, just holding it, watching the employees waiting to be acknowledged. I was then unable to check the order bc that same employee just said it was right when it looked to me like an item was wrong. She just sealed it up and handed it to me. According to Doordash, orders are frequently wrong from this restaurant, so it asked me to check, which I couldn't do after she sealed it. It would be helpful if cold items like cheesecake were bagged seperately from hot items, that way I could keep them seperate until delivery while still keeping the hot things hot and not ruining the cold items. Upon being handed the food, i simply said "you could acknowledge me next time," to which she replied with a suddenly friendly, "have a great night!" I get tired of people being rude to patient people like me who would prefer to remain polite, only to be dismissed when I ask for better treatment. Management, please consider retraining your employees to acknowledge everyone who enters the building instead of ignoring them. My fish looked funny staff asked for my piece to replace and held her bare hand out to get it. Weird.doesn't look the same as out west knox. Staff said they have to cut their own. Must've had Ebenezer scrooge cutting the portions. Potato was so hard I couldnt even mash it up and daughters corn was old and dark. I literally asked if they reheated last night's leftovers because it has just opened. We asked fo r our money back and mgr acted like she didn't want to and said she had to call her district mgr, never heard of that. Sge offered free credit, we said no, offered fresh food, we said no, we wish we wouldve got that the 1st tine around. my daughter was feeling sick, and I was grossed out. Mgr made such a embarrassing scene that the couple dining near us apologized and said his broccoli tested freezer burned and fish was gross. I hope he got his money back too. She finally came to the table and refused to give us our money until we piled all our food on a tray for her, I guess so we wouldn't take any! Trust me we didn't want it or we would've ate it. We was embarrased and didn't even get an apology . I was Grossed out from putting my fish in her bare hand. I lost my appetite .....do not eat here. The food was awful, and staff, and mgmt was rude, and tried to force us to eat or not get anything. We had gotten a $40+ order, to which we returned an the manger even said she saw why we returned it an told us it was due to the ice on the chicken that was then fried which caused it to burn, and we asked for a refund. She told us it would be sent in the mail by corporate and if not received in two weeks to call back, we gave it a month we know how it is an we understood. Well we called back to which we were told we would NOT be receiving a refund an she got so beligerent that we even had to call the cops. So when my husband got home I called corporate an they took down our story an said we would be in touch with someone named Melvin. A week later he got ahold of us an told us it was being looked into, we talked with this guy for two months!! Which means this went on for FOUR months! He said we were refunded which didn't happen an we even offered our bank statement cause we didn't mind showing it cause we DID NOT receive the refund. He then asked for our card info so he could look it up to make sure we had gotten it, never heard back. It's absolutely poor service in the store an by the people who are supposed to fix it. The day we called an talked to Alcoa they told us to leave a review as it was a Theft of Service but they couldn't help us because it had been so long, all due to them yanking us around.
