Barberitos — Restaurant in Alexander City

1. This is what we got instead of Jersey Mike's.
2. Moe's has been in Opelika for years, so burritos aren't a new thing.
3. Chips. Some were so stale I couldn't eat them will other chips (in the same serving) were fresh and crispy.
4. The burrito. If "blah" was a flavor, this would be it. I think I've bitten cardboard with more flavor than the burrito. There was absolutely no seasoning in this thing, and it showed.
5. The atmosphere. I placed my order from the website, and picked it up from the rack. There were a lot of people behind the counter standing around on their phones. Kind of weird that they had nothing to do, since this is a restaurant.
6. Parking sucks. This probably isn't their fault, but it plays into the experience.
7. Overpriced for what you get

The only positive thing I can say is that they have good salsa. It'll be a long time before I give it...

Absolutely horrible. I ordered a spicy chicken quesadilla and the amount of salt made my jaws clench the chicken was absolutely nasty so I asked for a remake with regular chicken and 15 mins had gone by after asking and my family had already finished eating and when I asked where my quesadilla was it was just sitting there behind the counter so now I’m going to assume it’s cold because she asked the other girl why she never brought it out to me . The girl who took my order back got an attitude when I asked for a refund because I said the chicken was too salty and she told the other lady I said it was too spicy I wouldn’t order something spicy if I don’t like spicy !...

I wasn't impressed by Barberitos personally. The burrito was not seasoned at all and was soggy as if it had been steamed even though I selected grilled in the options. There was also an unpleasant odor as soon as I walked through the door. The service was ok at best but when I added chips and salsa with an additional side of guacamole I still expected to get the salsa. Also, $4 for a medium cup of guacamole that was a tablespoon at most was ridiculous. I'm not saying these things cannot be fixed but I will definitely be giving it a while...
