We ended up here for a Yelp event.
Excited to be checking out a brewery AND some pizza. We stopped by later on a Saturday evening and the brewery was quite busy. It's a large space with a variety of seating options, plus an outdoor area. While the weather was lovely, we stuck with the indoors areas.
Since this was a Yelp event, the staff was serving, though it seems most of the time the drinks and food are available at the bars and counters.
We first thought of getting flights, but both made a game time decision to get pints. My wife had the Blood Orange Gose and I had the 202 Brett Beer. While I don't usually like tart beers, I gave a taste of the gose and we both liked it. The Brett also had a nice fruitiness to it.
For food, we went with a slice of the white pizza, crispy buffalo chicken, pepperoni, and a sausage & pepper. As the additional items, chicken tenders and the Old Bay fries.
Pizza has a great crust. Thin, crispy, and held up. It's not overloaded, so while the slices are large, they're light. I think my favorite was the sausage & pepper, Jenna liked the white pizza. The crispy buffalo was good, though I think one slice was enough. The chicken tenders were fresh, hot, and crispy. Lightly seasoned, but their dipping sauce was similar to the big chicken finger chain sauces. That's not to say it wasn't good... It was a great add-on. The fries were equally hot and crispy, well-seasoned with Old Bay.
Being quite full, the server said if we'd like, we could get a growler (crowler?) to go. The gose was still on our mind, so we got that to go.
I'd like to go back and try more of their beers, plus the Andy's pizza...
Read moreSo, we had the pleasure of visiting Atlas Brew Works a few Saturdays ago and had a good time overall.
Let’s start with parking. Street parking and garage parking is abundantly available, so there should be no true stressors there.
On to the establishment. Atlas Brew Works is very clean, giving the vibes of an open/welcoming concept. There are also a good amount of TVs to comfortably watch sport games that are showing during your visit.
Then to the service. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to experience Atlas Brew Works best execution of customer service. We had to get the waiter to initiate our service, to request additional items, and to eventually close out, meaning they weren’t very attentive to our table. Then our pizza selections came out lukewarm. Had the service been better, I could have easily given this place a 4 out of 5 solely based off of the taste of The pepperoni pizza.
To the food. The pepperoni pizza was bomb… even at a lukewarm temperature. The wings here were fairly good as well. I would easily come back for these two items.
As it pertains to the drinks… The drinks were a tad watered down and probably could have been mixed a little better (for example, the lemon drop).
Overall, the experience was...
Read moreI am familiar with Atlas brews and Andy's pizza....both are awesome in their own right. The combo location is like a pinch me moment because I must be dreaming. I went with the beer flight: blood orange gose, common lager and silent neighbor stout. All three were delicous. For pizza, I tried the margherita with burrata cheese and basil, and the sausage/green pepper slices. Both were good. I also ordered the Buffalo wings and sautéed broccolini. My husband ordered the silent neighbor stout and also the Irish stout. He tried the crispy Buffalo chicken pizza slice and sausage/pepperoni slice. It was a perfect amount of food for two people. We also wanted to try the fest bier and they only offered it in cans so we purchased a 6-pack of that and the two stouts to-go. They let you mix and match cans of beer as well and you can order online from your table and pick up at the bar...pretty sweet. Overall, the atmosphere is fun and lively and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Next time, I would order a whole pizza, instead of getting multiple slices. I would definitely come back. ...
