Lou & Laura's — Restaurant in Alexandria

I went last night really close to closing time. I ordered a cheeseburger add bacon and some curly fries. When I got home, there was no cheese or bacon on my burger. I paid over $11 for this. I took pics of it and called them today. I was informed that they would replace it with a cheeseburger but that I had to pay for the bacon and that I would have to pay for my curly fries again since I did receive them. It seems the employee forgot to charge me for the bacon. So in my brain I’m thinking….so y’all messed up MY order and I have to make a trip back to get only one part of my meal that I paid over $11 for! Doesn’t make sense to me! I’m the one that was inconvenienced. Shouldn’t you be concerned about your customer’s experience and their reviews of your restaurant?! Wonder what the original Lou & Laura would say? Came in from the Northern part of the State. Saw the sign and thought I’d stop and give it a try. Placed my to go order, sat down and seems like I was forgotten about. Orders going out throughout the building, and I sat for what felt like a solid hour for a fried po-boy meal. Who I presume to be the owner only greeted local customers, walked around handing out samples and checking on them. Not once was I acknowledged by her, only to be asked by the waiter to move from where I was seated to somewhere else so that they can give the table to a “table of 5” which was combined with another for 4 people. Really not sure where to start, because everything is phenomenal, we'll seasoned, fresh, and when you get your order it is hot and delicious!!! The chicken is the bomb!!!!! At this point, I can not leave out the burgers and po boys!!!! They are hot and fresh!!!! Saving the best for the last.... DEFINITELY got the Kirly Q's. I am saying you will not go wrong and be disappointed!!!! The presentation of food is fresh and excellent when brought to your table. If you drink root beer, they have the frozen mugs kept in the freezer for you to drink your root beer!!!!! There is just so much positive feedback, I could keep going!!
