The modern McDonald’s is nothing like it was when I growing up. Staffing with smiles waiting to take your order, very clean and tidy tables, floors, and play areas. Food was also reasonably priced compared to today’s overly inflated prices.
This particular location takes the cake for wait times for both drive thru or walk in orders. Just simply have to wait. Wait for what you might ask? I truly am not sure.
Could it be the employees being overwhelmed? Lack of training or inexperience? Activity striving to fail at order taking goals? So this means, more time between would result in a better qualify of service or customer experience? Definitely not!
Being a fast foodie, I have made ample observations to feel what it taking place is the incredible amount of online orders which come in practically every minute of the day at all locations. I have heard manager brief the employees to focus on the online orders over the walk ins.
Have you walked in and waiting somewhere from 2-5 minutes to simply wait for someone to come greet you to take your order? Well now you know why.
You will have a smaller wait time if you take queue in a lengthy drive thru vs no queue inside as a walk in. The food also seems to be prioritized in favor of the online orders and drive thru customers as well. Don”t believe me, next time you visit any McDonald’s, look what car is last in queue before you walk in. It is very likely they will leave with their food before your...
Read moreUpdate 06/07/2022 I'm still running after my money. Headquarters did go back to me. But instead of just settling the dispute, they told me they sent another inquiry to the store. I guess my lawyer will have to take care of this from here on. Unbelievable! Luckily my legal insurance will take care of the extra cost.
Update: As of today 5/3/2022, I have not received my money back. I talked with customer service and send another message to the store. Customer service tells me, they are waiting for a reply in this matter. So far they have nothing. The store has neither apologized or tried to get in contact with me about paying me back my money. If I go to my bank they will charge me fees to reverse the charge.
I never received order 1938 placed on 04.26.2022 at 10:40pm via mobile app at this location for curbside 2. After 15min waiting i went Inside. The manager James E. told me it's not in his system and they are having problems with this system. I should talk to my bank to get the money back. I showed him the confirmation. Not once did he check it on my phone and not once did he let me finish my sentence or offered me to get the items packed. I was forced to place the same order in the drive thru (order 2063). This night manager clearly needs more training and an attitude adjustment. He stole my money, because both purchases were debited...
Read moreListen up, y’all. I reckon I stumbled upon the slowest McDonald’s this side of the Mississippi. It’s like they’re runnin’ on molasses and day-old biscuits. Lemme break it down: I asked for my grub not once, not twice, but thrice. Three times, amigos! And still, my order played hide-and-seek like a squirrel in a cornfield. They told me to pull forward, but I reckon they forgot I existed. I sat there, starin’ at my steering wheel, wonderin’ if I’d accidentally crossed into a parallel universe where time moves slower. Now, I’m a simple soul with simple needs. Unsweet tea with exactly 20 Splenda packets—that’s my jam. But this tea? Bless its heart, it tasted like it’d been brewed in a rusty bucket. I sent it back, hopin’ for a miracle. Nope. Still tasted like disappointment. My usual McD back home? It’s like sippin’ sunshine. This one? More like swamp water. In summary, this McDonald’s ain’t worth the gas in my pickup truck. Slow service, vanishing food, and tea that’d make a possum cringe. I’ll be steerin’ clear of this joint, partner. 🤠 P.S. If you’re lookin’ for a better McD experience, head over to my usual spot in Dunkirk, MD —it’s like a hug from Grandma and a high-five from the...
