We stayed at the hotel that has this restaurant. It is more of a lounge with styled meals. The first two nights we ate here the service and food was pleasing and the price was below what you would expect not just for the area but for a hotel lounge in general. The third night was less pleasing on both food and service compared to equal time and patronage of the first two nights. The first two was one person that managed to balance being a bar tender, host, waiter, and server and he did an outstanding job with five tables and a few bar patrons by visiting the tables frequently to ensure proper service. The third had three people walk around with about the same amount of patrons. Or waitress/server only came self-attending twice, once to take the order and then to bring the food. She did not come back to check on experience, drinks, etc. I had to get her attention to come back to bring steak knives and sauce. The other persons, one apparently on bus person, was only walking around to clean and the last was the manager who stepped out of the back for a minute. Overall, still a pretty decent place to eat for convenience, but if you want a selection you can walk to 23rd street where there is an entire block of...

So the pub is located inside the Holiday Inn, and you can access it almost straight from the lobby, although you don't need to be a hotel guest to partake. The decor is Prohibition-era retro, and suits the place quite well.
I went late into the happy hour and got two apps: the spicy tots and the chicken tacos, $5 each. To my surprise, both portions were huge, each a meal into itself (although I wouldn't advise eating just tots for a meal, you do you). Coupled with their happy hour $5 drink, an Old Fashioned, it really hit the spot.
Service at the bar was quick and polite, and the patrons are pretty cool peeps too. Honestly, worth visiting even if you're not a guest at the hotel, but it's a must for happy...
Read moreMy sister and I arrived in Arlington later in the evening and wanted a meal. We stayed at the Holiday Inn this restaurant is located inside of. Luckily, they were still open. No one was there except 1 man sitting at the bar. It was a nice pub style restaurant with appropriate decor and atmosphere that a pub would have. We were seated and selected our meals. I had the Pesto burger and my sister had a chicken salad. Both were very good and fresh since we were the only people ordering food. Our servers were very kind. I would definitely go there again if I ever find myself...
