I was craving Mexican food one evening and decided to give this new local place a try based on the reviews that I've read. Unfortunately, I was not as impressed as other reviewers. I really wanted to like the food as I was hoping that this would be our new local place for some good Mexican food. Sadly the food was not really good and did not leave a good impression. We placed a pick-up order through DoorDash. The order was ready in time and was waiting for me once I got there. But once we started eating the food our enthusiasm started to disappear. We ordered the following: - Chicken Enchiladas green (see picture) - Chicken taco - Salsa (see picture) - Suizo Burrito - Guacamole small The food overall lacked flavor. It was really bland and uninspired. But what really disappointing me was the salsa. It was as if it was diluted with water. Really bland and just tasteless and honestly probably the worst salsa I've ever had. I hate giving bad reviews to small, local places and I might try to give this place another shot in a few months to see if their food has improved, but for now I will be staying away from Amuzgo's offerings.

I’m 38 weeks pregnant with my second child and in lieu of a “sprinkle shower” we decided to have a nesting party. We desperately needed sustenance after organizing, cleaning, and talking. After cleaning my entire house we catered food from Amuzgo Mexican cuisine. To say this was a good choice is an understatement. The food was not only delicious but there was so, so much of it! We ordered steak and chicken tacos (with corn+flour tortillas, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, lettuce, cheese, & sour cream), rice, beans, guacamole, chips, salsa, grilled veggies, and (the biggest hit) cheese and potato Flautas. The tray of flautas were demolished as my mother in law laid out all the other food. Horchata is also a favorite in our circle so we ordered two gallons but I’m almost positive it was 3! I’m glad this small business is so close to home. Not only was the food a huge hit, the customer service and kindness from the owner, who was helpful through every step of the process, is something we won’t soon forget. We can’t wait to go back ❤️

BEST ENCHILADAS VERDE AROUND- I am a big Mexican foodie, very picky and drive all over to find the best tacos, burritos and enchiladas. Most places are bad. That’s why I don’t leave reviews, but this place really surprised me. Didn’t expect a super favorable green salsa that is served warm from pan glazed on top of your freshly wrapped tortillas with your choice of meat. I personally love them with Barbacoa or chicken. Yummm. Def some of the best barbacoa around. Wait there’s more their mole ones are also really good too. Those were my favorite until I tried the green ones.

We tried this place for the first time last night and everything was delicious!! The owners, husband and wife are very nice and you can tell they love what they do and really want to make great food for their customers. They make everything from scratch. He was excited to have my husband and I try his homemade chorizo, it was excellent and my husband changed his order to chorizo tacos after he gave us a sample! I ordered chicken enchiladas with verde which was very good! While waiting he says, next time try the enchiladas with barbacoa and mole, and then gave us one to try! Omg! Amazing!! So, we ended up ordering a third dinner of the mole enchiladas to save for later, yes it was that good!! It’s really more of a takeout place, but it’s definitely one of the best Mexican dinners we have had outside of Mexico! Prices are very reasonable and they don’t skimp on portions. This couple is very nice and I must say, the best customer service you could ask for! Check this place out, you won’t be...
