I went out of my way to try to this Wendy's because there was a T-Mobile promotion. When I got there, very nice young lady and her two older parents making an order of 3 sandwiches &then the 3 promo chicken nuggets. Now mind you this promotion was going on all day. I had been trying to order online for a pickup and it wasn't working so I came in and showed it to the manager, Norma. She told me she didn't know anything about it walked away. So I'm waiting behind these 3 nice people for like 10 minutes trying to get their order of 3 sandwiches and drinks and 3 nuggets. I watched the clerk scan their phones, but something wasn't working. Then the "manager" Norma came over to "fix" things & tried to tell these well dressed, patient in courteous people that they had already used them. The woman tried to explain that the guy had just scan them and that's why it said they were used. But obviously it could only be one per order. Norma still insisted that there were used in there was nothing she could do about it. She was very rude and acted like they were trying to go from Wendy's to Wendy's to get there free nuggets while they were getting three other sandwiches including the two most expensive ones. She actually got the younger woman so upset she was practically yelling. The manager walks away and the clerk takes over and said this is on me I'll make it right. The fact of the matter is he wasn't trained properly as to the promotion. And the manager is one supposed to make it right and smooth things over not make things worse. I hate to say this, but all the staff accepting that African-American Clerk were Latina and the people trying to get the sandwiches in the Nuggets were Chinese. I called T-Mobile, I told them what was happening there was another mother and her child waiting for the same thing. I decided to leave but realized when I was halfway back to my car that I didn't know Norma's name at that time. So after a car drove away from the pick-up window, I asked the clerk what the manager's name was, then another car drove up she said I have customers if you're going to be yelling I'm not going to talk to you. Of course I was ten feet away so I had to raise my voice a little bit. Anyway this irritated me to no end, so I got behind the truck and walked up to the window and nicely and quietly asked her what is your manager's name she slammed the window in my face. So I just stood out there and waited causing the car behind me to wait there are other cars waiting also. But she is yelling at me and asking me if I think I'm scary I said no you think you're scary . She's then threatening me through the window with her 3in eyelashes and I say chola. She's a big woman and eventually she opens the window sticks her head out screaming profanities at me and threatening me some more. Somebody finally tells her to leave the window. I still don't have the manager's name and ask the next girl who comes to take orders from someone else or try to put together the orders for the car behind me which is getting annoyed at this point. The next woman ignores me so I continue to stand there until the manager finally comes to the window opens it and says what's the problem? She didn't come when the woman was screaming oh, when the cars were building up. Only after about 5 minutes I asked her what is her name and she said Norma I said if the other girl had told me your name none of this would have happened. I drove home and passed where I live another mile and a half 2 miles to another Wendy's in Hollywood. The young man took my order, didn't know exactly what to do went to the manager and she took care of it quickly and kindly I told her thank you oh, I just had a horrible experience at the Alhambra Wendy's. I said Wendy's was always the friendliest fast food and the Dave was probably spinning in his grave after what I had just gone through. The Wendy's in Hollywood is delightful, there was a Latino Clerk and an African-American manager. No problems. Just don't go to the Alhambra...

Here is what happened on 09/30/2025,at around 11:30 PM,when I was picking up an UberEats order for Customer Dustin.
1,A bespectacled female employee told me at the window that the order's for another delivery driver waiting in front of me at the door.I know it's impossible because UberEats can't send two drivers to pick up one same order at the same time,it's just common sense. But the employee said she was sure.
2,I parked aside and went up to the other driver, turned out he actually had a DoorDash order and the customer's name was Raul. The driver also told me that he usually doesn't like to pick up at this restaurant because that bespectacled female employee is always not polite to him.
3,I drove back to the window and corrected the female employee, she simply went mad and insisted it's the other driver's fault.Again,it's impossible, because it's two different delivery platforms and two different customer names.
4,A black employee came out of the door and talked very rudely to that DoorDash driver who barely speaks English.I intervened because the black employee was being so unethical and told him to just give the order to the DoorDash driver.
5,The female employee then said she wouldn't give me the UberEats order after my intervention. Not wanting any escalation,I drove away immediately and reported the issue to UberEats and the Customer as well.
6,The black employee laughed that I was refused the UberEats order.
I still got paid for that order but I definitely won't be back...
