Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Alice

We went through the drive-thru so I can't say much about the atmosphere, however, I'm sure it was great because the drive-thru service was great. Our food was delicious, I rarely treat myself to a burger and fries since I have to watch my weight but I decided to have the hunger buster meal and my granddaughter had the jalitos burger meal. We both agreed that our food was really,really good. There's not much you can say about a burger but, for some reason, these burgers really hit the spot and took care of our hunger. Stopped in for a Ice cream cone ( dipped / Chocolate). Quick service as far as that was concerned ( taking my order) However as I sat there waiting for my number to be called which I didn't really think would take that long. I started noticing people coming in and after a few minutes walking back out with an ice cream item and a drink. So After at least 3 seperate people came and went I finally went and asked about my order which got filled. I think they kind of forgot about me. So shame on them for that. Otherwise it was ok....

Husband and I left our campsite at Lake Corpus Christi to venture out and see the sites and adjoining towns in the area, plus he wanted an ice cream cone, so when we seen Dairy Queen we got all happy and excited!
