Barney's Bar and Grille — Restaurant in Aliquippa

Went to Barneys to try the food. Got seated quickly, seating is ok if you like to sit at shaky tables or on 2x4s made in the backyard kinda trashy and cheap. Got our drinks, beer was mid cold. Went to order food they were out of pretty much everything, now mind you this was a Saturday. Order came out before the appetizers, had burgers and wings, burger tasted o.k. plane no flavor like they used an aldi bun. Salt and pepper make a difference. Wendys makes a better burger. Boneless wings were overcooked and cold. Fresh fries were terrible over seasoned, no mention of seasoning on fries. They were also cold, not cooked to order. Chicken tenders gross don't order. Tasted like dirty fry oil or old. They were so burned, as well as no flavor just batter and chicken, must be using a frozen tender and don't know how to temp products. There are better options for frozen. Service was ok, short staffed it seemed. Nothing to write home about or makes you want to come back. Only thing fair was there prices...

Sat down and waited for a waitress and took about 20 minutes. Then the waitress said it wasn't her turn for the table and waited another 10 minutes for another one. I ordered short ribs and my husband ordered a hot sausage sandwich. We also order cheese sticks for an appetizer. They were out of the short ribs so I had to get a buffalo chicken sandwich. The drink I ordered came out all sticky. Appetizer showed up with my meal and my husband had chicken wings sat down in front of him. When we ask were his sandwich was she said someone else must have taken it. 10 minutes later he finally got his sandwich. Food was tasteless and sloppy. Waitress was totally confused about her job. Barney's was great. I've been here a few times and each experience was great. The first time I was there we had our meeting and greet for our class reunion. It was great customer service and I ran into some old friends from back in the day that weren't in my class. The second visit was a few days ago. Me and one of my friends had lunch here and a few drinks and just like the first time the customer service was on point. I had the fish salad which was bomb but I felt that they could've put some more fries on my salad but that's the only knock everything else was good. My friend had the fish sandwich and they said that was good also. So if your in the area...
