Prime Sirloin Buffet — Restaurant in Allegheny Township

My family and I went there last night for dinner, it wasn't our first time there either, as we go there here n there for breakfast or dinner. Last night I spent almost $70.00 dollars and we didn't even get to eat one bite of are food that either one of my family members put on their plate, and I had my girlfriend and my little boy and her boy with me. We went up to get our food and a friend and I were talking n what not and their was this guy that neither me or my friend or my family members knew at all was standing there listening to our conversation and as my girlfriends boy n I walked over to our table to set down, this guy was starting at my girlfriends 15 year old son and started mouthing off and staring at hi, the 15 year old asked the guy if he was talking to him, n the guy said yeah to him and the 15 year old said I didn't do or say anything to you and I don't know you, so this guy came rite up to our table and started yelling at me and the 15 year old like a crazy man! I'm disabled and walk with a walker, and I said wait wait wait buddy hold up!! What is your problem? He stated he didn't like what me n my friend was talking about, I said wait, I wasn't talking to you, it had nothing to do with you, and wasn't anything inappropriate or anything, so why are you standing at my table yelling at us? Next thing I know he wants to take me n a 15 year old outside and fight us!! He called 2 other people over to my family's table and told them what was going on and what he was going to do to us, so they started on us!! The manager that was working and the waiters came over to us n told us to stop it or they're calling the cops, I was still trying to set down to eat my dinner that I paid for!! And I tried to explain to them what was going on, and the manager was down rite rude and ignorant with me and called the cops on me n my family members and had us removed from the restaurant!! And we didn't even know any of the 3 people that were standing at our table, didn't get to eat after paying $70.00, and had witnesses that said we didn't do anything to these people, but I was disrespected by the staff and had the cops called on me and had to leave the restaurant when we did nothing wrong!! When I came here in the Late 2000's/early 2010's (I was 14-18ish), this place was like a 5 star supercharged version of Ryan's Steakhouse... Im talking meat perfectly prepared to order(YES, INCLUDED WITH THE BUFFET!), NEVER a bare spot on ANY buffet tray selection, food was ALWAYS fresh, and my fam made it part of our vacation every time we hit Lakemont, Delgrosso, or the Slinky Zone!!!! Fast forward to 2022, my adult (31) self, wife, and 8yr old daughter was in the area, and I enthusiastically suggested the Prime Sirloin, insisting that it was the absolute most premium experience this side of the planet!! Knowing that my wifes FAVORITE place to eat is at Outback Steakhouse, and we dont have one close to home, I knew my "credibility" was on the line when I suggested it lol.First off, I was so embarrassed when we got there and paid to figure out they werent serving any steak that I didnt even wanna eat. We didnt even finish our first plate. EVERYTHING on the buffet was half crunchy/old that my daughter refused to even take a bite of it. In the hour we were there, the same 3 pieces of old pizza were never changed out, the jello salad had one spoon to share between both flavors and looked like hell... All that was getting put in the chicken bin was dark meat, not any breasts... like WTFF?? I was in shock that such a wonderful place has gotten SO SHIY! Ill never come back. I came here in 2019 and it was a similar experience, but I just chocked it up to it being a slow day or something... ya know? Didnt know it was a lingering trend! I'd heard how it had gotten, but it used to be SO GOOD I literally could not believe it.... Take my word, dont make yourself look like a dumbas$ to your wife... what you hear is people being nice when they call this place "the golden corral's ahole"! Decided to try dinner to see if it is any better. Food wasn't cooked fully and was under cooked. The livers were still red inside. My stomach later reacted badly to the under cooked food.🤢

Won't be coming here again whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Tried lunch again and everything is good except for the shredded beef was slimmy. Got sick 🤢 later from it. Will taste the food first in the future and if it is suspicious will spit it out and not eat it. It's still a better option than eating a fast food restaurant where you have no control and the place could have been infiltrated by the Triads and now you truly have no control over the food. The only option is here where I have the option to not eat the item or even the whole plate even if it is wasteful and get something else instead. And if they think it is wasting food then too bad for them but I am not going to risk getting sick from the food again.

Try Tuesday seafood night. Got all the seafood, check that it was good before eating it. Got a second plate with other veggies and meat plus some fried shrimp. Food was good but the fried shrimp was mushy so didn't eat it and left it on the plate as I suspected the Triads has infiltrated the kitchen. However there was many other fried shrimp on this 2nd batch so I feel sorry for the other diners when they eat this 2nd batch of fried shrimp as they will not be coming back after this. Management need to find the mole in the kitchen that is driving...
