We love to try new places! I will say the atmosphere was great - the open garage doors are such a nice feature. We each got mixed drinks - just beware if you get a Moscow Mule it won’t be made with ginger beer. It’s ginger and seltzer. (We couldn’t taste the ginger). We started with the house made hummus for an appetizer. We love hummus and we were really looking forward to it - it was completely flavorless and just thrown in a steel mixing (serving) bowl with an ice cream scoop and then pretty much a side salad on the side of it. The pita bread was awful. Boyfriend got a Cuban - completely flavorless especially the “smoked” pork. I got the French Dip (one of my favorite sandwiches) - I had a couple bites, it was the worst $12 sandwich I have ever had. I have been in the food service industry my entire life and this place was pretty bad. We love to spend money on good food when we go out. This was beyond disappointing. Usually I don’t even leave a review but decided to this time because we were so excited to try this place mostly based on the reviews. Also if you wanted a glass of water it’s self serve out of a jug which I...
Read moreWe stopped to watch the game with a group of people. Everything we ordered was done to the highest quality and tasted amazing! I loved the French Onion Grilled Cheese, but also enjoyed samples of the smoked pulled pork and roast. The meat was smoked right on location! Drinks were amazing as well. I liked the Blackberry Palmer, but my friends enjoyed sampling the various beers made on site. I am not a beer drinker, but appreciated how smooth and flavorful the beer was. They recommended the Radler, which had a light, lemony taste. Almost forgot, you MUST try the Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse!!!
We sat the bar and chatted with the owner while they prepped for the day. All the staff were equally friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was comfortable and the food and drinks were upscale while incorporating a taste of home. I highly recommend and will return next time I’m...
Read moreI always love a place where the owner is hands-on. This guy had an apron on, preparing foods that paired well with the yeasts from his beers. He knew what he was doing. He talked to us about his journey working at Victory in the Philly area and about all the things he has learned over the years. This is an owner with knowledge, experience, and passion. So, now the beer. I’m a hops person, pale ales and IPAs. Really enjoyed the pale ale they had on tap. Looking forward to returning there and enjoying some different flavors! The menu had several decent options—you don’t want too many options. You want the options to be stellar and if there are too many, then they’re just mediocre. Spring rolls: fantastic. Dipping sauce was amazing. Texas Dog: ❤️. Atmosphere: very cool. Great music. Neat vibe. Fantastic service with staff who were personable and knowledgeable....
