Grill N Chill Spot Jamaican Cuisine 🇯🇲 — Restaurant in Allentown

So I was driving down Union blvd on my way to BJs and saw this Mobile food truck that caught my eye on Union blvd cross street is Tacoma st. “GRILL N CHILL SPOT” AUTHENTIC JAMAICAN CUISINE… If you have been following my food post then you should know that, I have been looking for a Good Jamaican food spot in Lehigh Valley, and it has been very challenging to find one, I’m from Philly and we have plenty Good Jamaican spots. Yet I am always willing to try different spots. With that being said. GRILL N CHILL gives you a lot of food, for the price, service was good. Food was good as well. I will say the rice was a lil dry and not flavorful. I still have not found that Jamaican spot in this area the search 👀 continues. 🫡

I ate there last month. The food was exciting. I got a small fried chicken meal. At first, when they gave me the container, I was like this is it. I will say I was able to eat twice with the small. The chicken was crispy but moist inside. The rice was great. The mac and cheese was great. The only thing wrong was that i didn't ask for more slaw. Everything was stunning. The service was friendly and answered all the questions.They had a DJ. I felt like I was in a club. All the needed was some alcohol drinks, lol. They even gave me something to try for free. First time ordering i got jerk chicken with rice and peas. I requested jerk sauce cause I like my food spicy. I got dry grilled chicken and dry rice. Nothing jerk about it and no jerk sauce as request3d by the paying customer. Some mango sauce instead. Decided to give it a second try ordered 3 meals for $60. Asked for extra gravy on my rice and only on one meal. Rice came completely dry. The oxtail was dry as well and the seasoning on the food is just not hitting like the Jamaican food im used to.
