Hop Po — Restaurant in Allentown

I have been ordering takeout from this restaurant every couple of months or so for several years now and have always enjoyed their food. The General Tso is some of the best I've had from a take out Chinese restaurant in the Lehigh Valley. On occasion when they have been REALLY busy my order hasn't met their usual quality. It's not bad, just not as good as usual. Also the staff have, for the most part, been friendly and accommodating. I don't know how they always know it's me when I walk in to pick up my order but the woman usually lets me know it's ready or it'll be a couple more minutes and I'm not even up to the counter yet. The lady at the convenience store across the street warned me not to get the fried rice and of course I did not listen to her. I went right across the street and ordered the fried rice like an idiot. Worst fried rice I've ever had by a million miles. It's like it's not even cooked. Do not make the same mistake I made. Listen to me and that lady and do not order the fried rice. The ribs on the other hand were quite decent and they gave me enough of them to feed an army. It's the same reheated Cisco food that you have anywhere else, not a very clean place either. That's not my complaint though my complaint is that the people here are rude and if you order delivery the lady on the phone basically screams at you the whole time. She was so rude to me that I just hung up the phone.

Many many restaurants that do the same thing as you do, very close by. You aren't the only game in town so if you're going to serve the same old low quality food then the least you can do is provide...
