It's weird how life works sometimes. I ordered from this place multiple times through GrubHub back in 2024 and it was as great then as it is now. How do I know this? Two days ago, being homeless and trying to figure out what I was gonna eat for dinner on a dreary Sunday night with about 4 cents in my pocket, I was randomly approached by a young man who wanted me to direct the CH customers to the correct door as their main place of business was being renovated. He found me sitting two blocks away in an area of town I hadn't stepped foot in in at least 2 years. There were literally hundreds of people he could've asked to do this before he got to me. I was confused at first as to why they'd resort to this tactic, but then quickly saw the answer(s). Some of these customers were craving this food so badly that they flat out ignored me and persisted up the steps and straight into the restaurant before realizing I wasn't lying. Long story short, it's as highly rated as it is for multiple reasons. But going above and beyond by feeding a homeless guy some great food of the highest quality and even adding in a few bucks for compensation to just sit around for 4 hours and engage with friendly and hungry folks is crazy work (in the best way possible). Didn't just make my day, made my entire month. The fried chicken , fries and gyro were the best I've had all year so far and that counts even before I was homeless! I HIGHLY recommend them not just for the food but for the entire purpose they serve in this community. Heck, they're so good that they just opened another one only 6 blocks away and business already seems to be booming. I can't wait to get back on my feet again and start ordering through GrubHub from there again. Although this time around I might just show up to pick it up in person and to say hi and thank them again for everything. If that day never comes, thank you guys for everything and keep up the great work. This...
Read moreAddendum: THank you to the owner for taking the time to contact me to address the following issue. I had previously given a 1 star review because I was disappointed by the customer service (as described below). My goal was to make sure it gets the attention from the owner to understand what’s happening behind the scene. I am glad the owner Mohammed took the time to contact me and address the situation. I changed my reviews because I do believe the food quality is great and this was a one off situation. Regardless, would hope that this instant can be used as a teaching point for the staff to avoid future inconveniences for customers. No hard feelings even for the staff that took the call. My guess is they are not as experienced. But hope you learn from this experience. When ur in food industry, customer service is a big part of your job description.
Original post- Really disappointed customer service. Just ordered dark meat fried chicken on Uber eats and I get a package of wings and breast pieces. Called the store to speak to someone and the response was that’s the order we see on our system. Despite me stating, that there was likely a computer glitch they were not even willing to listen. When asked if they can change it, the response was you need to order again. I understand it’s only 6 pieces of chicken and it’s not a big deal, but just the way the manager (Mohammed) responded and dealt with the situation is truly disappointing and frustrating. As someone who has always ordered from them and value small businesss, I am thoroughly upset at the casual disregard for a dedicated customer. Becoming bigger and disregarding customer experience because you think it doesn’t matter is the downfall of many businesses. ...
Read moreI am so thankful I came across this delicious place! Highly reliable, open late, quick service and amazing food.
When you’re hungry, especially later in the evening, this is a go-to! My house orders at least once a week from here between my boyfriend and I and then our roommate haha!
We love getting the platters with meat, rice, salad and few fries! I usually get a pita on the side to eat with my plate. I also enjoy the gyros, they are so full and scrumptious. We also had the cheesesteak, chopped cheese, fried chicken that’s so crispy, and the desserts.
I am sad they don’t sell Jalebi any more. The kind gentleman offered us a sample that we took with us and it didn’t even make it home lol. Sadly, they don’t sell Jalebi due to low demand, however, I think if they promoted it a little or gave small samplings for a little to spread awareness on what Jalebi even is! Once we were introduced to it, it was soon taken off the menu. We would go back several times trying to order it lol I haven’t had Jalebi since and we have such a craving for it! I don’t know where to even get it!
Go to crispy spice, there is something for everyone and it’s affordable. Order online and share your phone number you’ll accumulate points. They don’t give chump change points either! I already earned a free meal!
Great job, so excited to see crispy spice continue to expand, upgrade and thrive,...
