I have been using online shopping services since COVID began. Today was my first time going into a market in what feels like 3 years. I didn't have a list I just knew I needed to go get food. Supremo is local to me versus Walmart in Whitehall which was my source for getting groceries delivered. Something happened where my EBT had been hacked (still don't know how) so I had to order a new card and create new pin hoping to stop the theft. Being the first time in a long time going into a market I can say the anxiety I had on my way there and upon entering was alleviated immediately by the fresh produce you see and smell when you walk in. Associates were busy stocking and reorganizing items as I shopped. It was clean to my eyes. No obscene smell. I did end up with a creaky cart but that happens sometimes so I went to go grab a new one. I went to take the creaky one out and instead an attentive associate offered to take it out for me. I was grateful. I found all the items I came for. At checkout, the associate was helpful with how I could bag my food best because I use reusable bags and do not take plastic home. I appreciate people who share wisdom even when they don't have to. What I liked most about my experience is that no one bothered me until it was obvious I needed help and that is essential to me. I came to shop so you don't have to follow me around asking if I need help with anything. So, for all this I give them 5 stars. Not everyone will have the same experience I did but remember, life is what you make it. I wanted a good experience so I made it so by appreciating what they have to offer and not worrying about the prices not being Walmart prices because when it comes to food it should be quality over quantity and shopping local is one of the best thing you can do for your neighborhood. Do Only...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI actually really like this market, mostly because it has a very wide variety of ingredients and foods that I havenāt been able to find usually near me. Also, I find it very easy to walk here, and having Supremo near by probably saved me a couple times when food was low and we needed to get supplies for meals. Not sure exactly how prices compare to Giant or Walmart, but honestly I donāt really mind nor care, considering it can be much more difficult to ride by transit or walk with bags of groceries if you donāt have a car. So... necessity wins. Also, Iāve found the staff and security to be quite friendly. Kind of makes me wonder, though, why people who are concerned about āhow many people speak Englishā donāt just take the extra time to go to Walmart or Giant, both stores - by the way - are not very far down the road at all by car. I donāt speak Spanish and I always find it easy to speak to the staff. So Iām not sure what the problem is. Also, most of the staff Iāve talked to there do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been shopping here ever since opening day. I love this place to go shopping. I am going to try to give you the highlights as well as the lows. The staff are very helpfull as well as courteous. They will go out of their way if there is something not stocked or empty on the shelves. They will go into the stock room to see if the item or items are back there and bring to you the item or items you reuested. If they are currently out of something they will check and see when they would be getting them in and let you know when they will become available. The workers are efficient as well as friendly. Yes the lines are long at times but you also have to take into consideration that at times the store gets very busy too. My reasons for going there is they are quite affordable, reasonable prices, great coupons, the specials and the freshness as well as quality. I am also amazed at how much you save by shopping at this place. Overall, a great place to...
