Casa Latina Restaurant — Restaurant in Allentown

We had waited near 2 hours for a family meal of chicken before calling a third time to find out the drier no longer had our order. They never called when they arrived and then delivered to the wrong address. The counter people argued with us for over an hour whether or not we had recieved the order and what address they gave to the driver, because it clearly wasn't ours. They said they could deliver the food again, but it'd be an hour minimum wait. At that point I just wanted my money back, and they wouldnt even bother trying to give us a replacement meal or acknowledge that they messed up. They refunded us an hour later and made us wait 3 and a half hours to just wind up getting fast food because it was the only thing still open. Arrogant, rude, and scarily slow. The attitude was bearable before but after being asked "what do you want me to do about it", and told that the one counter person working there didn't give the driver the address, it was another, ghost counter person apparently, I truly can't stand this place. There food is pretty good with a reasonable price. But there service Is poor. There are times I go there and wait at the counter for over 5 mins. Sometimes they look at me and don’t even tell me they’ll be right with me, then will see more people come in, and I’m not racist because I’m Puerto Rican myself as well as other Caribbean islands mixed but they always seem to serve the Spanish speaking people first. I don’t mean to bash but reviews are everything and I go pretty often. Another thing I will say there pastilios have about a tablespoon of meat. I can order 10 and all of them will be skimpy. I ordered picadera and pernil for my daughter's baby shower and I was pleased with the food. Specially the pernil because not a lot of people can get it down right. The pernil was well cooked, very tender and just the right amount of seasonings. Pernil has a lot of natural fat, specially when it dries out and the fact that the fat on the pernil was very minimal was a plus for me. All in all the food was delicious and the one lady (I forget her name) was courteous and very pleasant. This will definitely be my new spot when making big orders. Thank you Casa Latina the food...
