Manhattan Deli & Grill — Restaurant in Allentown

First discovered this place months ago when I called and asked if they had "Chopped cheese" (A NYC Sandwich) He responded "yes" So from then on id purchase a chop cheese once a week from there I introduced my family as well as my girlfriend. My girlfriend became a huge fan of the chopped cheese but as of Monday Dec 12th my last order was messed up (wrong veggies) but to add on there was also a small green stem somewhat bigger than a grain of rice that was rock solid inside the sandwich thankfully my girlfriend felt it while chewing & pulled it out her mouth. So we took a chance again order today Wednesday Dec 14th (I ate here VERY frequently I have no reasgon to complain unless there was a serious issue). I explained the situation about Monday he offered an apology but no sort of compensation so to make amends he voids the $2 delivery fee (Yipeeee!) We get the sandwiches delivered we started eating & I noticed a different but not horrible taste just different from usual. My girlfriend however threw up the second half of her sandwich as she was consuming it, claimed the "Mayo was disgusting, tastes rotten" She then left the rest of the sandwich but to make things worse her ill feelings worsened & she continously threw up as the night progressed. So i will be calling him tommorow Dec 15th explaining what occurred & tell him how he lost a loyal customer which could've been easily preventable. To reiterate I LOVED THIS PLACE AT FIRST, but after 2 continuous mess ups & me not seeing Him put forth effort to fix them Ill just learn to make my own chopped cheese or just simply find a new place. Worst food & extremely poor corrective service I have EVER Experienced. B4 placing order I asked her how RARE could I get Roast Beef, when she said not very I went on to order a build ur own wrap with Pastrami, swiss, Romaine lettuce, tomatoes, white onions, oil, vinegar & oregano. WHY THE HECK WOULD I HAVE U COOKE SOMETHING I was just trying to get as RARE as possible? Plus I also ordered a hoagie & Specifically said my husband prefers his Hoagie on bun with Mayo intead of on a wrap. Then she Went ahead & COOKED MY WRAP & SAID IT WAS MY FAULT & SHE REFUSED TO FIX IT! I NEVER ASKED HER to COOK my WRAP! NEVER, NOT ONCE was COOKING any WRAP DISCUSSED. I SPECIFICALLY called & said I was ordering 2 hoagies, 1 build a wrap & the other regular. She then said EVERYONE WHO ORDERS PASTRAMI GETS IT COOKED. Well, she's wrong. Then she refused to fix it, even though we only live 10 minutes away, she said it was too bad ,she was closing. It was barely closing time, there was enough time for it to be corrected. By someone with considerate customer service skills. I would absolutely Not recommend this place based on that alone. There are plenty of other really great Local hoagie shops around,. I am very skeptical on trying out new places but I liked the fact that they were one of the few who served turkey bacon and coffee. Let’s just say I am very grateful that I actually ordered. Everything was amazing! The serving sizes is perfect and very filling. The turkey bacon egg and cheese on the Kaiser roll was outstanding. The home fries were excellent and came with onions and green peppers that’s a plus. The coffee I told them extra sugar and extra creamer because I am from NYC and not everyone knows what that mean.
