Flaming Crab Cajun Seafood — Restaurant in Allentown

We ordered a big family package and a few extra treats for my wife's birthday. She is a seafood lover, and grew up on the shore, not easy to please. We went in and got it to go. Long story short, it was great, and exceeded our expectations. It came out very quickly and was well packaged to stay warm and not make a mess in the car. Everything was nice and warm, the seafood was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was very tasty. Fattening, yes, but very tasty. I didn't try the corn, but my kids did not love it. We loved everything else, though. They scarfed up the potatoes and bonus broccoli. Four of us went to town on that thing, and we are big eaters. Still enjoying leftovers today. Nice amount of delicious seafood, and so easy and hassle-free. It is such a pleasure to try a new Allentown restaurant and be able to leave a positive review. Having lived in NYC for 25 years before moving here 15 years ago, and being a food service professional (I cook for a living), it has been tough to deal with the lack of decent restaurants in the Lehigh Valley. Ah-mazing! They understand sea food ....

The Flaming Crab restored my confidence in getting absolutely amazing seafood in Lehigh Valley. Though the restaurant is in the middle of a shopping center, it is quiet enough for you to have a decent conversation. The tables and seats are spacious and comfortable. The whole place is bright and clean.

They provide all you need to really get down to enjoying fresh seafood... pliers, gloves etc considering many people don't like to go to the bathroom to wash hands and have to touch bathroom doors before they eat.

I recommend any combo, in their signature flaming sauce at medium. Order extra corn, broccoli and potateoes. The sauce does magic 🪄 to them.

The lady who attended to us was professional, knowledgeable of their offering, neat and very attentive. It was the smoothest service I have had in Lehigh Valley.

This will definitely be my go to restaurant for seafood...

Our waitress was inattentive and abusive that I had to step out for cigarettes so the conversation didn't progress more negative. The food was great. I should've been Hispanic to get the service the other patrons got. My guests had to ask multiple times for drink refreshment, change out our buckets from unused tables. She rather stand behind the counter talking to other coworkers. The manager failed to do his job. The floors were sticky from spilled whatever. If my shoes stuck to the floor through the eating area to the bathrooms. I'd suggest going to the one in Palmer or Wilkes Barre. I've been to all 3. The manager Travis assured me that the issue would be addressed internally. I don't think he will correct the problem. It was a Saturday evening around 7pm.
