Yesterday morning I got a call for a family emergency that made my husband and me drop everything and drive out of town. We were on the road all day. By 7:00 p.m. we were starving cause we had not ate all day. We happened to see a Wendy's, between a Burger King and Checkers. We decided on Wendy's. Which unfortunately was a terrible choice! When we walked in we saw a large advertisement for your bacon jalapeno sandwiches. A couple burgers, and one chicken sandwich was on it. I get to the counter and the cashier seemed really sweet. I figured she was new because she didn't really know the menu items. I kept ensuring her it was ok and to take her time. who hasn't been new at a job. It can be stressful. I ordered my husband's food. Then I started to order mine. "I want that burger that's on that sign. It has jalapenos, bacon, and crispy onions, I dont know the name" I was looking at the menu trying to find it while saying this. She called her coworker, Heaven, over for help. Heaven came over and right away started with an attitude. Asking me "what do you want? You want onions on your burger?". I said "I want onions but not raw onions, I want the crispy onions". She snapped at me "we don't have that here! Onions or no onions. We don't do have crispy onions". So I thought, well maybe they call them something else here in Pennsylvania. So I started to say "maybe they're called fried onions" but was rudely interrupted by Heaven before I could finish "is. That. All". Then she walked away. Her rude attitude must have been contagious cause all the sudden your new employee completely changed from being sweet to being brazenly rude. I was willing to blow the Heaven situation off and continue ordering, so I started to show her on the menu what sandwich I was talking about. I literally pointed to the menu and started reading the description "that sandwich. With jalapeno, melted cheese, crispy onions...." and I again was interrupted "is. That. All". I started to say it again and again I was interrupted with a "is. That. All!" I again started to say what I wanted and again I was interrupted with "is. That. All". I kindly said "it's ok we will go somewhere else". To which I got a shoulder shrug, an eyebrow raise, and an "ok". Listen, I'm sure my little bit of money won't make a dent in your profit, however, I can guarantee you have a problem in your restaurant. I have been in customer service my whole working career.....you do not ever treat a guest that way! I was a guest in your restaurant and I was treated poorly. For absolutely no reason. If these girls treated me that way I KNOW they are treating your other guests like that. Especially if the new girl thinks it's ok to act like that. Hopefully this issue gets addressed. I am sending the same letter to your...
Read moreIf could make this place 0 stars I would. It was a few months ago, which is why I haven't nor ever will go back but the staff was terrible and completely unprofessional. They actually followed me to my car yelling at me as if I did something wrong and then chucked the finger at me while pulling away. A bunch of punk kids that don't know what hot sauce is for chicken nuggets apparently, which is what I had to go in for after being In the drive thru. The drive thru girl said "we don't have hot sauce for chicken nuggets, we have the chili hot sauce packets and siracha dipping sauce." NEWS FLASH siracha is a hot sauce. Either way they didn't put anything in my bag anyway so I had to go in for it. I was annoyed and said "you didn't put any hot sauce in my bag" she responded that I hadn't specified which one, so I told her just give me both if you weren't sure bc the point is I wanted hot sauce and shouldnt have to come in after being in drive thru, so she threw them on the counter at me and I said something about her attitude or something and started to walk out. I forgot to mention as I walked in before like 3/4 employees and some visiting friends I guess were all around the entrance BSing, one must of been paying attention to me bc as I was leaving he said something to me and I just said "mind your own business" while walking out which he then proceeded to follow me out of Wendy's yelling stuff to me as I walked to my car. When I pulled away him and the girl hung out of a drive thru window chucking their fingers at me. Never have I had such a bad experience trying to get something quick to eat. Besides this, they also have a bug problem....
Read moreI love their food, but the service at the 4th st location is terrible! This is not the first time I ve had issue either.. Live locally and was on way home from work. Went through drive through. Almost left because I thought no one there to take my order. I was like hello? Finally the girl responded and it was like attitude through the whole process. And then when she was waiting for my food to be ready she kept looking back at me and smirking! Then the kid that brought the food almost threw it at me! I said have a good nite and nothing! Completely rude! I work in customer service in retail and that is no way to treat a repeat customer! They always remind me time after time why I dont eat as much as used to their! Again its a shame good food but poor service. Maybe you should hire people who want to be there and are greatful for the work not ones who its like the customers an inconvience to them and dont want to be there or do their job! Ive seen many times where you lost sales and your competitor burger king got it instead! Well you just lost this customer! Never returning there ever again! Will go next door to burgerking who train their people right! And truely care about...
