My husband & I had gone here twice now. Neither time was exceptional. They are very slow. They have no idea what they are doing. No one communicates with the customers well. On each trip, we witnessed people getting the wrong orders or messed up orders. Waiting for food was at least 25 minutes. The store was dirty inside. I would be mad if I was the manager. Today, they only were taking cash, but neglected to tell customers after ordering on the kiosk & hitting to pay at register, that they wouldn't make the food until paying. We were told we could pay when we received your order. They had it at least 6 customers waiting whom didn't pay yet. So, we were all waiting for food, & no one said a word & no one was gonna get their food. Did they think we were all just hanging out????? The manager on duty was rude. I will go back to the Taco Bell on Elizabeth Ave all the way on the other side of Bethlehem before driving 5 minutes to this one. Shape up or close!
Edit* After a while, we decided to give it another go. The order was messed up. Ordered 6 things, got 5. On the next visit, they stopped making my FAVORITE burrito. Disappointed. But the food we did get was correct. Hot. Great flavors. Service was wonderful. Big improvement! Since this time, we have visited another 4. It is getting better...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJose is one of the best employees at this location. He's dedicated. I call him the "octopus guy" because he's usually doing at least 5-8 things with his two arms. He's pretty bad ass. We've always been treated nicely, with patience by him.
We started noticing how awesome he actually is due to an incident that happened about 6-7 trips ago. I was standing in the lobby, waiting for my food. Apparently, he was late or didn't call, something to do with employee policy, most likely. However, I hated the fact that I was exposed to it. There was no reason for this lady to belittle him in such a way, so publicly. I never reported it, but I did witness it. Like... pull the guy to the back or something. There are respectful approaches. This incident is what caused us to keep going back. We kept going until we saw him again, and knew he wasn't fired. Ever since, we usually get him, our order is never wrong either. He's super nice, honestly the nicest employee there in my opinion. There's a new young girl that I hope the customers treat well, because she is also very nice, and eager to learn. Very well mannered. š To some of us? We prefer people like that, over the actual food that we are eating. I personally hate fast food, but my mom and kids love it.
I'm down for real carne asada all the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe staff was nice & friendly enough to help me order an item that was not on the digital touch-screen kiosk. Everything was organized: sauce, lids, dining room, (there is even a covered outdoor eating area). The food was incredible (what Iike about Taco Bell š is that they always have something NEW & AFFORDABLE going on in a cardboard box, meals that are ADVERTISED in a way that looks fun, exciting, & tasty)! This is pretty much a new location which is exciting. I see a bright future on 4th Street in Allentown! If one really wanted to nitpick, there is a hinge in the mens bathroom (more specifically the stall) that looks like it needs adjustment or replacement (I guess this information pertains to those with a more meticilous attention to detail) either way, it doesn't affect the quality of the...
