Not from the area, came out for something else and stumbled upon this gem. Fyrebird beats all other chicken spots I've tried. 10/10. Worth the drive out, the customer service was as good if not better than the chicken. Hyped me up and they knocked it out the park. Super family friendly and everything was amazing. The atmosphere was a pleasant outdoor experience that really makes u feel like a little getaway from the surrounding city. Fun photo ops with the decorative mural. Great options for kids of all ages. It's a bit far from where I'm at but I'll definitely be back soon. If I could suggest a few items, for me I'm not big on spice but their spicy options offer a broad range from mild to if your wild. Their fries can feed a family and is tasty and hearty. Sause options pair well with the chicken and fries. The bun is a compliment not the star of the show or villains in some cases. Again everything tasted fresh and was prepared properly, chicken was not pounded by Mike Tyson and they even I believe, remove the tendon part from the breasts and tenders making it easy to eat and bite. Again to sum it up, just eat here and be happy for a day this food is genuine and authentic please keep up...
Read moreI live in Gardena but I tried FyreBirds for the first time today April 9th 2024. And I didn't realize they have a little patio in the back of their restaurant. Well from the suggestion from the staff I tried a barbecue slider and their fried pickles I was suggested to try it with a barbecue sauce I try to have the barbecue sauce and I bought an extra sauce which was ranch. The slider was a great size She asked if I wanted everything and it comes with like whatever sauce you pick pickles and ranch and coleslaw on it. For one slider it was 4.50 but it was worth it and the fried pickles it's enough to serve four people I believe unless like you want to eat it all yourself but they give enough pickles that you can share with people and it comes with one dipping sauce and it was 5.50. I think that if you haven't tried this place it's on the corner of Crenshaw and Manhattan Beach boulevard in a little plaza tucked away in the corner but it's a great spot especially the patio I believe that you can ask them if you can have maybe a party in the back. Good job you guys It's a great place. Everything tasted...
Read moreI found Fyrebird during the early parts of the pandemic, and it very quickly became part of my regular take out rotation. And while I'm not as local as I used to be, I always try to make a stop or take some chicken home with me whenever I'm in town. In a world full of Canes and Dave's Hot Chicken, Fyrebird (I feel) is leagues better and completely outperforms the chicken chains in every way. The quality and freshness of everything is unmatched. The flavor options and all the possibilities of sauce combinations keeps it interesting every time (that house-made ranch though). The value of what you get for the price (family packs??) feels reasonable. The best part is supporting local, family-owned business -- I've never had an unpleasant or unfriendly interaction with anyone working there, everyone is truly so lovely. I tell people about this place all the time, have brought it for potlucks, and in the process have created a legion of fans... in and out of the South Bay... who all agree this is THE place for chicken. Literally cannot recommend it enough. If you haven't...
