Ok so I’m not the first customer who had a bad negative experience with Maria in the reviews.
There is no need to show condescending attitude to customers trying to get their technology straight with mobile orders. Seriously.
My grandmother wanted to place an order through her app and I was around the area so I went to pick it up. She was on the phone with me as she was figuring out to submit her order and I had already arrived to the drive-thru. I told Maria that we r placing this specific drink order online. She said she would just take the order and I said “Yeap it’s this drink - it should’ve went through the system.”
I roll around, it turns out she “placed” her kiosk order rather than waiting for the mobile order. She proceeds to use her finger as she speaks to me “I told you to not place that mobile and I can just take the order through the speaker. Now I have to cancel mine.”
To be honest, maybe I missed her note, maybe she missed my note. I apologized if this caused inconvenience but she didn’t acknowledge, kept her unpleasant attitude throughout this interaction, annoyed by the fact she had to cancel her order in the kiosk.
I understand miscommunication can happen. But it’s really not something you should get riled up for, or show fingers and speak to someone in such attitude. They weren’t busy (no cars waiting) and it was just one drink order. (They didn’t even make or waste a drink)
I left the business just feeling uneasy for a drink and service we paid for. Will not be returning to this specific Starbucks location in the future.
One star review is almost never seen in my reviews but this Starbucks breaks...
Read moreReally nice Starbucks’s. It’s close to Windward and has a beautiful interior, comfortable seating and a great crowd. Great work environment, except that they play the music way too loud and the employees use their phones to DJ and play non Starbucks music and it gets annoying. You feel like you’re in a club full of 17 year olds. If they just played the corporate Starbucks music instead of Amy’s electric pop mix from her Apple iPhone it would be a perfect experience. Also the temperature is also set on freezing in there. Bring a jacket in the summer.
Edit: 4 months later and I’m here and it’s the same complaint. Great interior and service but the music is just way too loud. I couldn’t even have a conversation with the person next to me because the music is too loud… and I grew up in the 90’s and had two 15’s in my trunk so I can enjoy loud music, but this is just ridiculous.
Additional Comment: Two years later and I’m back in here to work outside of the home and it’s the same complaint. Loud non corporate music and I can’t really even hold a conversation unless I act like I’m in the club and get into someone’s ear or speak loudly. I realize what the issue is, the employees don’t have speakers near them, they are close to the corners and not over them so they are blasting the music in the sitting area so they can hear it where they are working. Because it’s not as loud around the counter but out in the seating area it’s drowning us out. It’s better than it was before but the music is still from someone’s personal collection so if modern pop isn’t your flavor then it will get old...
Read moreTerrible! You saved me trying to fight with your app in order to send you my complaint! If you had a minus star that's what I would give you. Our group of 3 ladies, sometimes 4, meets at that Starbucks on Windward Pkwy every Wednesday. But no more! We asked for a refill of our overpriced coffee and tea because we were told that you did refills on those 2 drinks as long as we drank it there and just had plain coffee or tea. So we were told to find our app which we did. But we couldn't remember our pass words. So they refused to give us a refill. Such rude service! So embarrassing! We went up there 3 times because first we were told we needed a card. Then we went up to show them the app. And I even had some emails you had sent me on my app. That wasn't enough proof that we had a Starbucks rewards account. So long story short. We won't be visiting any of your establishments any longer. You need to get some better people to work there. And you need to stand behind what you...
