I placed an online delivery order for Vito’s. A short time later, I received a call from the owner stating that my order was outside of my door. When my husband looked there was nothing was in front of our door. I called the owner back and learned he had delivered the order to a different address in my subdivision. He initially insinuated that I entered the wrong address on my order (which I did not). After realizing his mistake he restates where he delivered the order and all but suggests that with it not being far from my address I could go and pick it up. After sharing that I placed an order for it to be delivered to my home not someone else’s home, he states that he will get it and bring it. Meanwhile, my husband and I decided we didn’t want an order that had been sitting on the ground outside of someone else’s home for the time that it had. When the owner arrived my husband told him to cancel the order and issue a refund which the owner agreed to do. I called the restaurant before they closed to ask if I could receive confirmation of the refund. The owner stated that he would text it to me after he closed out the registers. I never received anything. The next day, my husband contacted the owner regarding me not receiving any confirmation for the refund. The owner stated that he had sent it and in a condescending tone asked my husband how would he know if I received it or not. My husband stated for him to send him the confirmation of the refund ASAP. A little while later, the owner (I assume in an effort to prove my husband wrong) sent my husband a screenshot where he sent the voided transaction receipt via text the night before. My husband replied back and shared that the number that he sent the text to was not my number which is why I never received a message from him. After my husband shared the text with me, I sent the owner a text message thanking him for sending the transaction receipt but also sharing that he should be careful in the future. The transaction receipt had my full name, mailing address, email, phone number and the last four digits of my credit card on it. This info was sent by the owner to another customer. This all occurred on Thursday, May 27th. As of today, the owner has not responded to either of us and no apology has been issued.
I’m a business owner so I understand that mistakes happen. That being said, I also understand that great customer service is what makes those mishaps work out well. An apology is simple. Delivering my pizza to the wrong address, suggesting that I get the order from the wrong address and sending a text with my personal information in error to someone else is wrong and not something you don’t acknowledge. That’s...
Read moreI ordered large extra cheese pizza half ham, pepperoni, beef, sausage other half pineapple, 12 garlic rolls, tiramisu, penne broccoli.
I found hair in my Penne broccoli pasta. I didn’t mind the order took almost two hours to arrive and the pizza was kind of cold. It was New Year’s Eve, I imagined they would be very busy. I just moved to the area a week ago and I love pizza. This was my first time ordering pizza from a local spot in Alpharetta. I wanted to see what the gourmet pizza spots near me offered.
My family and I order a lot of take out and when we saw the hair, we decided to call the restaurant just to let them know this had happened with no intent of getting anyone in trouble nor asking for anything in return. I called at 8:48pm Thursday Dec 31,2020 and I explained to the lady which picked up the phone that I found a hair in my pasta and didn’t want to cause any problems to anyone, just wanted the restaurant to know. She responded that they had no woman working in the kitchen and said it rude/defensive almost as if I was calling in all angry when I was calm and cool. No reason for her tone unless she was stressed out. I responded no way I could tell what gender this hair belonged to unless I did a DNA test and her comment left me thinking this could have been pubic hair.
The conversation was difficult as I tried repeatedly to say I was just informing her but she was in a bad mood and you could tell she wanted to argue. I asked for her name and she said Elsy, I do not know if that was her real name and which is why I included the time stamp of the call. I tried to be very friendly with Elsy and again I was just trying to notify the restaurant of the issue instead of making it public but she just responded to go ahead and write the review and do whatever my heart decided in a very rude tone.
Either way, never ordering from this restaurant. I’ll try Mama’s Pizza...
Read moreI am new to the area, love trying new places, stopped by here about a week or so ago. Absolutely awful. I attached a photo to show you how oily the pizza is. And this is just a cheese pie. So you can’t say it’s grease from pepperoni. This was nearly inedible. It was a wet soggy mess.
I also ordered a side of meatballs. They lacked spice but were okay in terms of consistency and being cooked well.
The service and establishment was the real issue. The only woman who seemed to be serving at the time, and mind you there was NOT ONE customer in this store when I arrived… she was sitting down at a table on her phone, she got up after a few seconds to seat me. And what I immediately noticed is that there was a table directly across from me that was dirty with dishes and drinks from a previous family it looked like. But after the server took my order, she went right back to a booth to get back on her phone, not cleaning that table. It’s one thing to sit when nothing is to be done, but she had tables to clean, and would’ve rather waited for however long.
She also never refilled my drink or asked to refill. I had to get up and ask her after a few minutes of her just sitting there seeing my glass empty if I could get a refill.
The young guy who was making the pizzas had great customer service. Very friendly. He also is the one who cleared that dirty table which was insane, this is a server’s job, not the cook.
The pizza could be redeemed with a few tweaks, but the waiting staff needs to be retrained for me to feel comfortable...
