I ordered a quart of ice cream and two half pound burgers and fries. No sooner had she rang up my order and someone set the quart of ice cream in front of me. I asked her how much it was going to melt before I got home: "Deer in the headlights stare" I took it outside to keep it from melting.
Next I asked her if my burgers were going to be cold like before the change in owners when I gave them back. She said she would keep an eye on them. While looking at my receipt i noticed she had ordered quarter pound burgers, not half pounders. I hailed a waitress and she went to the cook and changed the order. After 15 minutes I asked where the burgers were and she checked and said in a minute. A couple of minutes later a girl brought out two wrapped burgers, no sack, just the burgers. I asked where the fries were? Again, "Deer in the headlights". She finally realized I wasn't joking and made me two orders of fries, and actually gave me a bag this time!
When I got home the buns were so soaked they fell apart before I picked up the burger. I picked out the two meat patties and supplied my own onions and lettuce as the lettuce that came with the burger was water logged.
In all, it was just another lesson why I seldom eat out in Klamath Falls. King Wah, Mongolian Grill, and Reds Barbecue are the only restaurants I have been served a decent meal in the basin. I am sure there are more decent restaurants, but I am afraid to try many of them.
Oh by the way, the ice cream was excellent as it is a franchise and the recipe is hard to screw up. The ice cream is the only reason for two stars! The service was as unprofessional as it gets, no one knew what the other person was doing! The rest of the food was even worse than the service.
I would advise the owners to take the microwave out of the kitchen, it destroys the burgers, and I will bet every burger that goes out the door is microwaved to warm...
Read moreWORST FAST FOOD EXPERIENCE EVER. I was with my family and we ordered 3 burgers with fries and drinks. We received our burgers and they were cold! My burger was even gummy in the middle. Cheese wasn't melted, burgers were tasteless, buns were cold and hamburger patties were room temp. The fries were also unseasoned. Grossed out, I took the burgers to the front and complained. A few short moments later, a young girl comes to me and explains that their grill is broken and that they are putting our burgers in the microwave. (Burgers we already took a bite out of). The microwaved food is handed back to me. This explains why they were gross in the first place. Now, our bitten-into burgers are warm, but still gross tasting. Mine, was still gummy. I could only take a couple more bites, then had to throw all the burgers out as my stomach started to hurt. Did I mention that the entire staff has an "I don't care" attitude. Of course I'm going to complain about a nasty, microwaved burger. Anyone would! But, they all looked at me like I was crazy, and handed my food back like I was wasting their time.
They never offered to make new burgers. They never offered a free meal or any kind of compensation. A manager never came to talk to me. My meal even came with ice cream. I chose not to get the ice cream that came with my meal, for fear that they would ruin that, too.
Also, the store was disgusting! The floor looked like is hadn't been cleaned in weeks, the soda machine had a layer of dry-sticky soda all over. Also, the bathrooms smelled and looked like a porta-potty.
We are from out of town and went miles out of our way to go to this place. Waste of time!...
Read moreI wasn’t going to comment on it but it really rubbed me the wrong way. I went to Dairy Queen today to get ice cream with my friend who’s been a little down lately and I got a Sundae. He asked for a chocolate milkshake and then changed his mind and asked if she would make him a chocolate banana milkshake. The girl was very nice and repeated the order back everything was fine. Before she went to charge us, her manager walked over and told her she was doing it wrong and that she needed to charge us extra for the banana. She changed the order and charged me which was whatever. HOWEVER, they handed us our stuff and there was banana in my Sundae. I checked my receipt and the manager had charged me extra and added banana to my sundae. Did I mind that my ice cream was messed up? No not really. I did mind though the way the manager made that poor girl feel like she had messed up when she had actually gotten the order correct, and felt the need to intervene and mess up my order. I felt like it wasn’t necessary for her to be so rude to the staff in front of customers, and proceed to get the order wrong and the humiliation was pretty clear on the poor new girls face. To the girl rocking the pink eye shadow: bb you got this, don’t let others tell you you don’t, and to the shorter Hispanic manager, girl trust your employees they know what...
