The Doughnut House | Drive Thru — Restaurant in Oregon

Today...Feb 25th, 2023 FIRST time going to this donut place. Very nice gentleman that helped pick out donuts. ONLY to get home to eat them with my grandson and find a long hair cooked into the Apple fritter. YUCK I called to talk with them about it, a lady answered I told her what I found and that I had a picture if needed. And her ONLY reply was....thank you for calling. I have worked in the customer service business for over 30yrs and I can honestly say this was the worst customer service I have ever had, and especially being a food service. The VERY least reply should have been ....Im so sorry that happened.. Etc But nothing. Unfortunately neither I nor my family will be returning to this business, :( I MUST edit this post and say. The VERY nice gentleman that helped me called me back and truly apologised for the mistake and offered me a replacement. That is great customer service and a great business. We are all human and make mistakes. Thank you, we will be returning as my grandson just loved the deer in the head lights donut, and I would recommend that for any youngster,...

This was our first time going through the drive through and experi moving the doughnut house and all they have to offer, and because we are on a tight budget we were just looking for the day old donuts I had heard that they were offering. Unfortunately when we got there they had already sold out of the day old options and I was sad that we would have to pass and as I stated this to the lady working the window she told me to just wait a few seconds and then came back with a bad of 4 donuts (and they were seriously delicious!) for us to take and when I asked how much she said no charge which really really was the nicest thing I’ve had happen today. I truly appreciated it and my boyfriend and I made sure we showed our appreciation. We feel this needed to be seen by other potential customers, just to let everyone know how kind they are over that doughnut house, and when we are able to we will be going back, and totally recommending the doughnut house to everyone we know! For one person to be making the donuts trying to please fanatical donut seekers (include me) and the employees trying to accommodate the mad crowds I've seen, I'd say being a bit touchy from some reviews after getting 4 hours of sleep a night, trying to meet demand, might bring out some attitude. :) The doughnuts are fantastic! The prices may be higher than the community is used to, but the freshness and taste of these doughnuts demand the price that many are more than willing to pay. I've had Blue Star and VooDoo doughnuts and many others in my travels. I'd say The Doughnut House is top notch! They aren't just donuts. People stand in line for hours at these places or come early to satisfy their desire for quality. This business has been open for just under a month and it is still a bit crazy to get product.
