Franz Bakery Outlet — Restaurant in Altamont

I never miss an opportunity to stop at the Franz Bakery Outlet in Bend. Go early as everyone else likes to shop there also. 😅 Although its day old items I've never been disappointed in the freshness. When I get home everything goes in the freezer. They have, of course, mostly breads, muffins, bagels, etc but also nice selections of sweets, like danish, bear claws, cookies, etc. Wonderful homemade jellies and jams along with soups and sauce mixes too. I especially like the stamped cards. For every $10 spent you get a stamp and when it's full with 5 stamps you get to choose any 5 items off the back wall. A lot of the outlet store's dont have grab and go but Bend does. Lots of the locals pop in for breakfast, lunch or snacks. My family loves Franz Bakery items. This outlet store is great, in terms of price and selection. My nephew loves the assortment of bagels. I like the breads which include organic and keto selections along with their regular standards. There are also cookies, pastries, doughnuts, chips, and other sundry items such as jams, peanut butter, soup mixes and more. Also, if you purchase a certain amount and get your Franz card punched you can select 5 free items from a designated selection of items.

It is worth stopping by for even a couple loaves of bread. Especially, since prices are sometimes a dollar or more under local grocery...

There are lots of choices of breads, rolls, buns, Danish, some donuts, cooler w/drinks, cookies & more. There is always a discount section. The gal that is usually there to check you out is really sweet & personable. A card they give you is punched & when it's filled you get 5 choices from the discount rack free.
