Just left after eating dinner. Great prices and options (Gluten free varieties). Some of the food was not good because it was overcooked. They also automatically charge a tip (we had 6 people in our party for a meet up). If we came separately, then they wouldn't have charged a tip so I guess I wouldn't recommend bringing family here 🤷 Half of us wanted tea and they refused to give us more than one pot and said to pass around one. I thought it was extremely rude since we had a larger group. However, I would give this place another try in the future.
Edit after Owner Response: My comment about the 18% charge is because our family was two groups of 3 and we just asked to be seated near each other to catch up since we were both in the same area. Originally, I told the waitress we were a party of 3 and that was prior to seeing your menu or the information listed. Technically, we should have been separate and not have that charge, but we didn't fight it. I do see that it is posted on your menu, so I only included that information in the review because there was a base charge AND we were not treated nicely. If you are going to charge a minimum service fee then it is safe to assume you would have nice service! Normally, I tip 20% at minimum for good service. Also, if this had been two groups of 3 then you would have had to give two tea pots and not ask that multiple tables share theirs. We did not ask for a tea pot for each person, only that we get two for the three people that ordered it so we didn't need to pass it around the table. Two tea pots would not create a crowded table considering we were supposed to be separate, so your comment about that makes no sense and further solidifies my review about the service being horrible. I reconsidered my 3 star review after the reply. I would not try to revisit this establishment since you clearly don't care about giving nice service. I would gladly tip more if the experience was worth it. I also love how you glossed over my comment that the food was not good and overcooked. At bare minimum, that should have been the main focus of your reply since this is an eating establishment. Guess you don't care about giving good...
Read moreI’ve eaten here multiple times and it’s usually pretty good. My husband and I ate there last night and ordered a Cali roll, a Philly roll, and a spicy tuna roll. The gal who took our order was kind, and our order was delivered by a young man. He put all the food on the table and asked if we needed anything else. My husband and I were chatting and catching up after our days and I said, no thanks that we were good and he walked away. I looked at the order and thought, oh maybe they got our order wrong, and they brought us a spicy shrimp roll instead of a tuna roll, and I didn’t think anything of it and didn’t want to bother anyone. We ate the sushi, and I realized that uh-oh, the guy must’ve brought us someone else’s roll, because our other rolls were also there…. The guy didn’t check on us after delivering the food so I didn’t get the chance to let him know. So when it came time for the bill, I told him that I think we got someone else’s order but didn’t realize it til we had eaten it. He asked if I was going to pay for it since we ate it. (I’ve worked in food service and know you’re not supposed to deliver food to a table and then if that’s the wrong table take it to another table, you should eat the cost and make new food and whoever gets that wrong food should NOT have to pay for the waiters mistake) he said if we didn’t pay for it that he was going to have to pay for it out of his tips. My husband felt bad and said we would pay and I’m just disappointed in having to pay for someone else’s mistake. He even admitted to not checking the order before delivering it. I’m disappointed and probably won’t...
Read moreI didn't want to write it here. But it's ok. I will. I called to find out if you sell gift certificates. My daughter and her fiance love your restaurant. I wanted to get them a gift certificate. The man on the phone didn't even talk to me. He probably was talking to the customers. I get that. I was patiently waiting. Then finally I think he said something to me. I didn't understand a word. I asked him if you sell gift certificates. He asked me several times something... I think he didn't understand me and didn't know what a gift certificate is. I asked him if there is anybody else I could talk to. He gave the phone to another guy. That one told me that they didn't understand what it is in English and told me about someone who speaks English and comes to the restaurant for half an hour every day.... I feel so disappointed! I wanted to ask them if they are open on Sunday but honestly I didn't want to keep on the conversation. Please teach your stuff to answer the phone and properly communicate over the phone with potential...
