My fiance' and I reserved here about a month in advance. Then about a week prior asked if they had a roll away, they only have 2 for the entire place, they didn't ask about if I was planning on a third. I forgot to say so that part is on me. I called back to officially add a 3rd to my reservation and said fire code didn't allow for a third in the suite I had setup nor was a rollaway allowed. So I arranged for a 2 queen room. Then when we arrived late and got upto the room we had instant regret on our choice of stay. This hotel is on the newer side and already felt older and not upkept. Cleanliness is not were it should be. Mattresses were thin and hard and no way would we sleep well. The toilet was the old and super low to the ground and the flush power is low so it's nerve wracking to use. Walls in the bathroom weren't straight. The whole room felt small and closterphobic. The little details of outlets and switch plates, you have white walls and almond switch plates I swear just to match the second hand looking phone and accessories didn't help it looking unclean. The tv is small and wall mounted but all the wires behind it are an octopus of a mess. The lights over the bed are 4 ft led fluorescent fixtures that are so bright it hurt our eyes and are the main source of light for the room. You'd never use them in the middle of the night, I'd rather stumble and stub a toe than be that blinded. Even though we checked in around 1 am and where stupid tired we decided to cancel our stay and find a new place. It wasn't inviting. I've had enough issues with Wyndham properties I can't say I'll ever stay at an affiliated hotel of theirs ever again. This was the last straw. For the price it just wasn't what I expected. We were so stressed out we forgot to take pictures and that's our bad. Our...
Read moreThe hotel has a large lobby & breakfast room. Check in was a breeze and the gentleman at the counter was kind & courteous, he went over breakfast hours, room location, wifi, pool and hot tub info and asked how our trip is going. We were given the option of 1st, 2nd or 3rd Floor which was nice. We chose ground level this time, our room was small but cozy perfect for us. There was a decent sized bathroom, a queen bed, closet, desk, tv, fridge & microwave. The room had a bench seat in the window which I loved. I chose to hang out there for a bit. It was comfortable and we could see our vehicle from the window. The bedroom had a large mirror as a backdrop with bright lights, it was perfect for someone to do their makeup if the bathroom was in use etc. The bed was comfortable, and we had plenty of pillows. The down side of the rooms being small is you can hear the tv from the next room through the walls. And unfortunately for us the alarm clock from the opposite room that went off from about 530 - 930ish when housekeeping went in and shut it off. The only other issue w3 ran into was the side door closest to our rooms key reader was down so we had to walk around to get back in the building. The location was great for our trip and the hotel was clean and nice, and the staff was all friendly. Overall a...
Read moreTerrible! Customer service is bad! Hotel is disgusting! I already gave this hotel a bad review and I want to do it again! Bathroom stinks. There was a dark dry drip on the bathroom wall and there was a strand of hair in the freezer. How did the hair even get in the freezer? We made a reservation for 5 nights and we had a dog. And we were moving from California to Montana and just imagine how much stuff we had. I was expecting a ground floor because of the dog. But they gave us a room on the 5th floor and the front desk said when I asked why on the 5th floor she just said we were supposed to have a room on the first floor but the hotel was busy. So we were the only ones on the top floor with a dog. And also when I booked the reservation, I asked them about a late check out coz of my son’s school. I was told it wasn’t going to be a problem. On the check out day, they said hotel was full and we couldn’t have a late check out. We had to do the online school in the park. I don’t know... I felt like we were treated badly. I will not mind it if the room we stayed at was super clean but it was gnarly. Yes, Microtel! Your room is disgusting and your customer service is terrible.
