Del Taco — Restaurant in Klamath Falls

Updating my last review from a month ago. Went to Del Taco and observed the young man wearing gloves while taking my cash. When he was done he picked up trash from the floor and threw it in trash. Then he went to the back to prep food and again picked up trash from the floor. Then he started prepping food without changing his gloves.

While he was picking up trash another individual was in the middle of the food prep area and sneezed. He did put his head down towards the floor but did not cover his mouth could have used his sleeve or hands and then washed them. It's evident they have not been trained on hygiene.

Not going back there again.

I have to say of all the Del Taco I have ever visited this one stands out the most. For good reason. The place is cleaned and the young men and women working here are on it for the most part.

They are polite and very busy. However, their attire leaves something to work on. Sometimes the clothes they are wearing look very dirty and it makes me wonder if they wash their work clothes a couple of times I have gone I there and I can smell the sweat. But the day just started. If their hygiene is not good that's more concerning than the great customer service they are providing.

Otherwise, they are on it. Be more presentable and proud of what you are doing. You are already doing it might as well enjoy it...

To be clear, I always enjoy the food. But I've never spent longer in a drive thru. I've been at least half a dozen times over the last 2 months, and it's always the same thing. I'm usually the only person in the drive thru, and I still am waiting almost 10 minutes. Clearly, it's been a problem because now, to avoid long drive thru times, they just tell you to go park. My visit today was an almost 15-minute wait with no other customers to be seen. I'm only ordering for 2 people, so it's not like I'm ordering a catering service. It's ridiculous how long it takes.

Again. Great food. I would totally recommend it. Just expect to be waiting for...

How do you rate service? After being told last time that a big order with special orders (PLAIN) would be better if dine in and not drive through, we walked in this time. Our order taker gets a 5 because we ordered and the cashier took the time to verify it with me and then tells the cook/assembly person exactly what was special ordered and repeats it to them also. After getting my order, it was wrong, no changes. Order taker had left for the day. The cook checked the order and realized he got it wrong and started over. New drive thru person tried to help. Had to wait again. Other part of order, no guacamole, on a single burritto...
