Although the food tasted delicious I ordered a fruit cup and unfortunately found a hair on my fruit. I did speak to a manager and she was very kind and comped some items for me and also sincerely apologized but I was a bit concerned when she said it’s been something they’ve been working on at this location, meaning it’s happened more than once. I love first watch and this was my first time being to this location and I regularly go to first watch at different locations in Orlando. And it made me afraid to go back to this location after experiencing this plus also hearing it’s something “they’re working on”. It should be mandatory for any and all food service spots to wear hair nets. Hygiene and cleanliness is very important and this has been a common issue for me finding hair in my food at local restaurants but I did not expect this from first watch at all and was extremely disgusted & disappointed.
Again the food tasted delicious but I was dissapointed after coming to my fruit and finding a hair on it. Please work on cleanliness and implement stricter rules for the staff to focus on preventing this and making sure it never happens again. Such as mandatory hair caps, covers or hair nets. Cleaned aprons and clean clothes fresh of any lint, hair, or animal hair from home etc, including overall proper grooming for the cooks.
Despite this thank you to the manager for expressing her sincere apology to me and also coming to find a solution to make me more comfortable in this situation. She...
Read moreI don’t know what’s going on with this restaurant group but Keke’s needs to reopen…..now.
I’ve had the same First Watch experience with Winter Park, Lake Mary, Orlando, Davenport…..the service is awful. I don’t even know why I keep giving this place a chance. I’m not even mentioning the over priced food. That speaks for itself.
We were really excited to have this Altamonte location open in our neighborhood even with previous experiences. Every time we come into one of these we sit and sit and sit and sit while servers are yakking in the back, texting or using their phones. Similar to previous visits, numerous tables were sitting around and waiting for someone to just say hello. It took me rounding up two very hungry kids (3 and 6) before the server finally decided it was time to come over. This was probably the 15th-20th time a First Watch server walked by. Did I mention there were more tables open than occupied? It wasn’t even busy. So we continued our trek out the front door.
I’ve come to the conclusion that with Keke’s working out their lease thing, I just need to start a mediocre breakfast place with mediocre service, serve mediocre food at a reasonable price and that will put me way ahead of these guys. Our neighborhood would be better if First Watch left and...
Read moreI’m a local customer of this franchise based in Maryland, and I visited two Florida locations on 3/23.
At the first location, my husband witnessed an employee exit the rest room without washing his hands — that was an immediate red flag, so we decided to leave and try a different location.
We then went to the Altamonte Springs location, and unfortunately, things didn’t get better. We waited at our table for 15 minutes before I had to ask a server just to get our waitress so we can order! Once she arrived and took our order, we waited another 30 minutes — the longest wait we’ve ever had — while watching customers who came in after us get their food first.
When our food finally arrived, mine was cold to the touch, and I had to ask for a manager to have it remade. Our waitress was not attentive at all — she never checked on us and didn’t seem concerned about the delays or issues.
This was honestly one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had with...
