Maitland Breakfast Club — Restaurant in Altamonte Springs

Very rude manager. When I came in to pickup my order, I asked the lady at the front if it was OK for me to sit and eat at a table there. She said to ask the back counter. I asked the counter, and two of the ladies there said yes that was fine, just pick a table in this area, so I did just that. As I sat down and started to open my food, a very nice older lady asked if I needed water and gave me utensils too. A couple minutes later, a shorter brunette girl very politely asked me to leave per her manager. I asked her if it was OK for me to order a coffee and stay, as I felt bad for her since the manager put her in a very awkward and unprofessional position. I asked if the manager would speak to me directly instead. She came back with a coffee, apologized, and I proceeded eating. After that strange encounter, I continued to hear audible complaints regarding online orders, and received cold looks from the staff. My parents were to meet me there shorty to join in on breakfast, but since such an uncomfortable atmosphere was created, I told them not to come, and we could go somewhere else instead. I left a small tip on the table for the nice older lady, and went to the counter to checkout. I was charged $3.86 for a cup of coffee, and decided to leave another small tip since my presence upset everyone so clearly. It really just makes me sad how I was treated by the manager, and consequently some staff, when returning to one of my favorite breakfast places in my hometown. Please consider acting more appropriately and don't allow any of your customers to experience this...

this is the second time we've been and unfortunately the second time we had Tina G as our waitress. She had to ask us several times over what we ordered our visit, seemingly having forgotten, which is fine. This time, though, she seemed like she didn't want to serve my husband and I at all. Generally very curt and cut me off a few times when I was giving my order. Never EVER have I had any server bring food and then leave without another word; no "enjoy", "does it look correct?", or "do you need anything else right now?". I don't expect people to act like robots, but all of my negative feelings could have been avoided if she treated us with the same kindness as the family next to us, checking in on them and actually smiling. To top it off, she asked us if we wanted a receipt and we said yes, and she never came back to our table. My husband SAW her print and grab our receipt, but she never brought it to us. We went to the counter to ask after waiting for several minutes at our table, and we were greeted by EVERYONE so nicely. We told them what we needed and they started the process of printing it out but all of a sudden, Tina shows up with our receipt! Wow, what great timing! We left a bit confused and then on the way home, after looking at the receipt, realized Tina charged us for something we did not receive. It seems like there was a reason we had to wait so long to get our receipt. I regret the 20% tip now, but we'll never be coming back anyway. There are so many nicer, cheaper, and overall better diners all over that we'll be taking our business to...

Other great dining option, I've dined here only a few times and each time I had a wonderful dining experience. I had breakfast on each occasion but they offer a wide selection of foods. The service is awesome and the staff is very friendly, stop by and check them out! I'm editing this review and keeping my earlier post as is. I don't want yesterday visit to reflect negatively on the other waitresses. The service I received yesterday was horrible, my order was incorrect, I asked for hashbrown and received breakfast potatoes. No big deal but my server never checked or asked if I needed anything. However, I could hear her asking other customers if they needed anything. I didn't eat a quarter of my meal and just decided to pay my bills and leave. I went to the counter to ask for a to go plate and boxed up my food and left. I am very disappointed and I expect better service! This is a revised review. I have dined here several times in the past few months and most recent as this past Friday. My aunt and I had lunch there and the food is delicious and the service was awesome.
