Las Lomas Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Altamonte Springs

If you read my original review, you'll remember that I said the $4 margaritas are probably worth it, but I won't be back on my own accord.

Usually I leave the original review during a revision, but I've returned a couple times with friends, hellbent on enjoying the margaritas. While I still feel there's a language barrier and a general lack of service compared to most restaurants, I must say I was impressed by Sebastian. I had to ask a few times for water again, but he definitely made sure that we got what we needed in the end. We had more than a fair share of margaritas and the appetizers he brought to the table were amazing. Sebastian even helped me mess with my friend by telling him they were out of margaritas and absolute perfect style.

So I'm going to give these guys a break and say that it's a fun little Mexican restaurant with a very exciting $4 Margarita Wednesday.

I hope they pay a little more attention to the customer and can turn drinks around faster, but I did have a great time on my last visit and will return to throw back some very tasty margaritas after a long day.

I've given it four stars across the board except for atmosphere. I'm not saying that the place isn't a Mexican looking restaurant, because the decorations are beautiful. I'm dropping the atmosphere star because the overall attention to the customer seems lacking. I did quite often see most of the staff cuddled in the corner ignoring customers that need water, chips, etc. Some restaurants overcrowd customers constantly asking them if they need anything, but this stuff could afford to err a little more...

This was my first time eating at Las Lomas, the outside makes this place look huge and with plenty of parking located in a very busy intersection (436)

We arrived in an early Friday afternoon and were immediately greeted and seated.

The design inside is pretty nice the chairs and tables all have different Mexican art work , lots of lights and a bar at the end.This restaurant has a lot of seating and space inside.

Me and my wife ordered the Enchiladas verdes which are served with Mexican rice and some guacamole and lettuce, tomatoes. I would have preferred instead to get re fried beans with the enchiladas and rice but price wise it was not bad around $14 for the meal.

I also ordered an appetizers, the guacamole not the one that is mixed with cilantro and tomatoes just plain guacamole....tastes was good and it tastes even better mixed with their salsa witch by the way was pretty good and a fan favorite of my sons along side their warm chips.

The place is clean , plenty of seating and it looks nice inside. The only thing I thought needs improvement was the enchiladas, the chicken was pinkish color and had no flavor to it also they could add more verde sauce on top of the enchiladas.

I will return to try something different, their menu offers a lot of options including a kids menu and fresh Mexican waters like agua de Horchata witch was pretty good and not to sweet.

Prices for this restaurant I feel are fair and for the portions you are not being...

It's always a great time as always a good time up till two employees decided to stand there giggling and pointing on the other side of the table not to mention as we exited they sat in chairs doing the same thing out front which is quite embarrassing and shameful in their behalf we visit this place quite often visit this place quite often and this was a odd behavior not to mention there was no indication how much a shot was on the menu or an indication of cheap or top shelf of tequila for my friend's birthday seeing we visit this place twice a week quite disappointing I don't think we will be attending a visit again due to this issue but they have been great in the past and great food and a great time but this was very profound of rude and disappointing of behavior of grown individuals poor service of the directory of these employees seeing they see us quite often apparently the chef is the owner as they approached not once but three times without preventative quite upset very upset this the sign of my visit we will not be attending this restaurant again unfortunately never been so disrespected. Especially on my friend's birthday how disgusting I'm very upset to write this report saying that I supported this business but clearly the individuals of this evening did not care about the customers I'm very...
