So I called this place after calling another place that was way too expensive for the size offered. But Heritage Pizza was offering larger slices at a competitive price so I went with them over the others. Plus I remembered that a family member told me that Heritage was very good and, in her opinion, the best pizza around. Now, if it wasn’t for recalling that conversation, I would have not even realized that they were in business at that location. My mind is still stuck remembering the Pal Minos Pizza that used to be there that has been gone for years now. Thus I usually think of vacant or closed in that area. So I go there and order the basic pepperoni pizza slices. These cuts were of good size and appetizing in appearance, with pepperonis that were of uncommon look. The pepperonis being slightly smaller but ultimately more flavorful and abundantly placed. Now when I got the pizza home it was still hot and I took a bite to find a thinner, crisp and excellent crust texture. The pepperoni tasted as good and as flavorful as it looked and everything was just about perfect. So I called it the Heritage ”Perfezionare”Pepperoni Pizza…. Because it lived up to the billing, didn’t disappoint and totally satisfied my pizza craving for dinner. Again this was my first time here. And there is only one time for first impressions. So these guys garnered accolades from me and, eventually, I will be back. Now some people complain about such and such in reviews. And I did find myself selecting Heritage because of a price issue elsewhere. But, truth be told, …..todays high prices are due to yesterday’s bad governance and fiscal policies. Hopefully that changes soon….like later on this year. But the decision I made to buy Heritage was the right one. I’m glad I went and I am sure most will have the same great pizza experience I did. There’s simply nothing to hate about the Heritage Pizza!!

Insanely mid for the price. Don’t know if I just got a pizza on an off day but I don’t get these gleaming reviews. I love New York style and this didn’t really do it for me. Especially since it was so thin the small amount of food you’re getting is kinda crazy for the price. Got a small cheese pie for $18.19, barely any cheese as default. I actually measured and got its about .5 cm thick with cheese so even less crust. Was also the kinda limp soggy kind of thin instead of crispy :/. Can’t recommend when you can get a large from other much better local places for like $5 less than a small here.

I had a fantastic experience at this charming and inviting pizza shop! The staff were incredibly well-mannered and welcoming, making the whole visit even more enjoyable. The pizza was absolutely delicious—clearly made with care and quality ingredients. The seating area was clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the ample parking available, which made getting in and out a breeze. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, this place is a solid choice. And the lunch special? Super cheap and an unbeatable value! Exceptional service all around. Highly recommended!

After I saw the owner on that local 814 show and saw his way of going about making a pie, I was definitely gonna try it. If you like actual NY style pizza, then u will love this. Nice thin, crisp crust w/ good flavor, a sweet but light sauce and the cheese is what makes this pie. I hate taking a bite of pizza and u have sauce dripping off the side or half the slice has flop or the dough seems chewy or half cooked. Well, you won't find that trash here. The few bad reviews here, I have to assume they don't know what a real pie is like. They probably like Papa John's. That garbage isn't even pizza. I'm not gonna complain about the price, I've spent 40 bucks on different pies in Jersey that weren't as good. A Large pep pie and a soda for just under 20... I won't get pizza from anywhere else in Altoona now. It also reheats perfectly......

Where do I even start…. First of all, they have 3 options of items to eat. They were out of pretty much everything to the point I was nervous to even ask for a fork to eat my scalding hot pizza. They advertise pizza by the slice but surprise they don’t have that either. My buddy and I got a pizza with sausage and pepperoni on it. We each ate half of a slice and threw out the rest. Saying the pizza is horrible is truly an understatement. Highly suggest you find a better place to eat because this place needs to be put out the pasture and abolished. If I could give a negative star...
