Okay so on Thursday 1/18 I put in order for Planet smoothie in Altoona for curbside. At 11:50 I arrived and called the store per the curbside instructions. Call, no answer. I walked in and there was 1 employee and another man stood by the side. I said my name is Brytaney and I have a curbside and I called but no one answered. She hands me my smoothie, I say thank you and walk out.
On Thursday at 12:45 I get 2 calls back to back from planet smoothie. I answered the first call the person on the phone (who I later learned was the manager) and she asked if I was a dasher, which I replied no and we disconnected. She calls back a minute later and tells me they don't do curbside. I advised I've done it before and it was available as an option via planet smoothie's direct website. Then she accused me of being rude to the employee by screaming, and having my hand on my hip. She said that I was banned from the store.
I explained that in no way was I rude to the employee and what I said, as well encouraging her to check their cameras as she had yet to review them and didn't even ask me what happened before accusing me. After sometime we came to the conclusion she was going to bring this to the attention of the owner (as I was getting nowhere with this individual).
On Friday night at midnight my order got refunded, not by request, so I called in wanting to know what was happening as I haven't heard from the owner. I called the store and talked to the manager again who told me the owner was aware and if they wanted to talk to me they would call me but they did refund me. Additionally the manager finally reviewed the footage, which does not include audio, and said there was a misunderstanding. She did apologize but followed it with a but. Additionally she tried to say I was never banned from the store.
It's now Tuesday late afternoon and there is still no phone call from the owner. I'm posting this bc it's completely crazy that I was accused of being rude, the manager hadn't reviewed the footage, and wanted to try to get mad bc I used an option that was given to me. I still want a phone call from the owner bc of how this all played out and how the manager spoke to me during the first interaction.

Per the owner request: the owner did call me and speak to me. While the owner was sweet, the lies told by the manager was unacceptable. Even today I was told via the owner that she was told via the manager that she didn't know they offered curbside where I was told that ever since the new manager (learned her name was Sierra) that they didn't offer curbside. Additionally, Sierra lied to her manager and myself by trying to say I wasn't banned from the store, despite being told I was several times on Thursday.
All in all the owner did try to solve the problem but the reality is they need staff that are well trained, truthful, and professional and that starts from the top down. Like I said to the owner for me a sour taste is in my mouth and will not be returning for the...
