We have been at this establishment 3 separate times. The first time the staff wasn't rude per se, but I wouldn't have called it good customer service either. However, the last two times we were there, our servers were stellar! White male server was a ton of fun, and even though our dinner experience was lack luster (I'll retouch on this), he was killer and definitely kept our experience from being really annoying. Our female server we had the second time was so sassy and funny! I loved her! Our dinner experience here, however, has never been very good. Personally, I would say it's a bit overpriced. The second time we came to this place, my husband had ordered a chicken salad, and I ordered wings. Our male server was super attentive, but our food no joke took an hour and 45 minutes to get to us. Half of the food in our group came out first, and then the other half came out (one of the wing orders wasn't even right) and the salad my husband ordered came out an hour and 45 minutes after we had ordered! Went we finally got the chicken salad out another worker had come overshe told us the chicken had to be defrosted? We were pretty disappointed with the experience š. We weren't offered for the salad to be taken off, which is fine I guess if you don't want people to come back. I think honestly, what mostly made us mad about that experience was the lame excuse they gave us about defrosting the chicken when half of the orders weren't chicken or were wings that came out in weird intravals. If it is just because your busy just say so. The two stars are purely for the two servers. The manager (I'm assuming?) definitely didn't help...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been here twice. The first experience was lackluster, but not bad. This last time, my SO and I went to the Sunday monthly brunch. It's $15 per person, and it's not worth it.
We ordered coffee, to which our waitress did not ask if we needed milk/cream or sugar. When we asked for it after receiving the coffee, she didn't bring us spoons. It came in little plastic condiment cups, which is fine, but obviously gives you a limited amount. When we got more coffee later, she neither brought more or asked if we wanted more.
The breakfast buffet was a couple tables set up with chafing dishes. There weren't enough serving utensils for individual items, and many were shared. It's difficult to get scrambled eggs with tongs. I never saw an employee check any of the food, and it showed. None of it was hot, it was all warm at best. Looking back at the dishes from the table it looked like they only had one burner per dish. Much of the food seemed to have been sitting there for some time, none of it appeared fresh. The fruit parfaits were just sitting on the table, not sitting in ice or anything, and also looked like they'd been there a while. In addition to the lack of attention, much of the food seemed to not be made in-house, but packaged.
Overall the place is clean and nice looking, but is very loud. There are more things I want to try on the menu, but I will never get up early again to get...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Tiberbeast Burger is pretty much what you'd expect from a standard burger. It wasn't bad, but it didn't really stand out either. The burger is topped with their "famous" beer cheese, which, unfortunately, didn't live up to the hype. It had a noticeable bitter taste and was quite curdled, giving it a grainy texture. I'm guessing something went wrong with this batch, causing the proteins to break down. Definitely not a highlight of the meal.
For a side, I ordered their homemade "woodchips," which are essentially just kettle chips. Be warned: these things are extremely salty. If you love a good salt bomb, you'll probably enjoy them, but for someone like me who's not a fan of overly salty foods, they were a bit much.
As for the service, the staff was efficient and did what they needed to do. Nothing to complain about, but also nothing that would make me rave about the experience. They got the job done, but it lacked any real warmth or memorable interaction.
Overall, this is decent spot if you're looking for a casual meal, but based on my experience, manage your expectations, especially when it comes to that...
