We went into this Alva, OK store about 4:30pm on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 and went to the kiosk to order since everytime we go in there anymore they seldom even have anyone at the counter because they seem to want everyone to use the kiosk. Just like the last time they didnt have any table tents at the kiosk but I made our order and had my husband grab a tent from by the register. While I was finishing up the manager on duty came up and rudely clunked down a stack of tents as if it were my fault there werent any there and she hated she had to do something. She then proceeded to go back and started yelling at all the staff ordering them to clean the dining room (which she continued yelling at them the entire time we were eating) while they were clearly trying to make food not only for us but several others that were in drive thru, had door dash orders and more that came in behind us. When she brought us our food she had a plastic 1/8 pan with condiments with her and asked if we needed anything else. I asked if I could please have some salt, to which she said, "no, since you got no salt fries, we cant give you salt packets." I was completely floored! I was like "are you kidding me?" She was like, "no, you said no salt and we burn oursleves, so you cant have salt packets." My husband was stunned, he was like, "what?" Like, utterly confused. I simply said, "dont worry, we wont be back, they clearly dont know how to do their job so they blame us and refuse to give us salt." First of all how does anyone refuse a product to a customer simply because they requested their food without a product? Second, if they didnt OVERSALT their fries 99% of the time no one would need to order no salt. Third, we only requested no salt on the fries, not the meat. Maybe our request for salt had nothing to do with the no salt fries, maybe it was for my burger and his fish. Which in reality, it was a little for the fries and the meat. Last, IT DOESNT MATTER what the salt was for, if a customer asks for something you give it to them. Your manager working on this day and time was so unbelievably rude and has NO business in this industry. My sandwich was supposed to be no onions and it had onions so I took it up and as aggravated as I was about the salt and as much as I wanted to go off on her, I politely explained the issue, to which she turned around and started yelling at the kitchen staff to make a new sandwich NOW. Then when it came out she told the crew member, very rudely to, "take it out to THAT REDHEAD in the pink shirt!" To say the least, this was the absolute WORST service I have ever, in all my 50 plus years on this planet, gotten. If I had to rate it, I would have given her -100. Not only was she rude to us she rudely informed another customer that he had to pay full price for a cup of water because of teens. Another guy came in and ordered to-go and was missing his drink and she rudely told him, " you DIDNT order one!" (To which I say, isnt she supposed to suggestive sell when she sees someone is missing a component of a complete meal? As a manager, she should have caught there was no drink and suggested one, however, that would require paying attention and reading the order back, at which point he would have realized that SHE in fact did the order wrong as I heard him order a drink.) An older lady came in and she was rude to her.
The ONLY people she was NOT rude to was a group of young boys whom every time she called for them to get their food or drinks ignored her and she would gladly...
Read moreI came here with my girlfriend as part of a date. After we went inside and started to ordered I thought I heard employees cursing at one of their co workers. I wasn’t sure so at first I just shrugged it off thinking it probably wasn’t anything serious until I heard it more clearly than before. It was obvious I heard mistreatment of staff and bullying on one if not multiple of the staff there. It was embarrassing to hear such behavior go on between everyone there. It seemed like this wasn’t the first time, as if it was an every day occurrence. The staff was slightly rude to me as well but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that They were just tired. But I do feel that the staff treat each other poorly and believe that something needs to be done to stop bullying. aside from that The tables and seats were slightly dirty, and the food took around 10...
Read moreINSIDE:
They have three registers, but only ever have one person fielding orders. Two people are almost always crowded around the food bin, purportedly to "run" orders I imagine. Seems duplicative. One person could probably do the job of two.
Friendly people, just so effing slow. It's agonizing to go to a "fast food restaurant" only to leave fifteen to twenty minutes later having just received your food.
OUTSIDE:
Double lanes are cool, but since every Tom, Dick, and Harry in Oklahoma has a truck, the line is usually pretty long (or appears to be). Still, for all its deficiencies inside, it seems the McDonald's in Alva concentrates its efforts on moving the outside drive-thru lane along readily. Which it does for...
