So I recently moved back to alvin after being gone for 8 years. And I have had nothing but bad drinks from this location, which is sad because now I’m convinced I’ll have to drive out of my way to a different Starbucks to get my favorite coffee. I have ordered my coffee the same way for years and no one has had a problem making it until now. It’s very simple I like 3to4 (depending on my mood) packets of honey melted by three shots of espresso iced with oat milk and a dash of cinnamon on top. The first time they handed me the drink the cup was 1/4 empty. I politely asked them to add more milk… I got my drink back and it had so much ice in it I had to scoop some out to get the straw in the cup. The next time they didn’t melt the honey and it was clumpy and gross… both times I didn’t complain because I assumed they were having a bad day. Which happens, the third time the honey wasn’t melted again; I finally called and complained to a manager who never identified who she was… I had to ask her name. Carmen was very apologetic and offered to remake my drink and to give me some kind of recovery coupons. I was on my way to work so I informed her id come by the next day. Which I did; I asked for a manager and got Parker. Parker all though was very polite informed me how I order my drink is wrong. Which WOW; I was unaware I am not allowed to order my drink how I wanted… but ok. He informed me I should order this honey oat latte… and sub the syrup for packets. He said he would make it and if I didn’t like it he would make me another drink…So I said I would try it. After he rang in my drink he went to the back… ok; I guess he isn’t making my drink. Someone else made it, and gave it to me. I looked around still no Parker. So I just left with the drink… Parker in case you are wondering… I didn’t like the drink. Idk how many honey packets were put in but it wasn’t 3to4. Also there was no cinnamon. Carmen; I never got my coupons, Parker didn’t even mention them. To the regional manager; train your management team on customer service. Carmen needs to introduce herself when talking to an upset customer, Parker should have made the drink and waited to see...
Read moreThe store at hwy 6 and hwy 35 is not only one of the only stores on my side of town but it is also very convenient in my daily running. I stop at that store a lot. In fact, I registered my Starbucks card less than a month ago and I've made gold status already, THAT is how much I visit Starbucks! However, after today I'm seriously considering changing my coffee provider. Today I went in to this same location, I ordered my regular drink, I used my card to receive my stars. The man behind the counter making my drink was watching a video on his phone, to the point that he "messed" up the first attempt to the point of having to dump it out and start again. He clearly was NOT paying attention to what he was doing for whatever was on his phone was much more important. When I did get my drink (faster than normal, which is good...normally) it was AWFUL! I asked for extra ice and extra Carmel. Which I received neither. The drink was a yellowish white color. NOT RIGHT. I really don't think this man could have put any LESS effort into making my drink. I did end up taking it back and had it remade, and to no surprise the man was still watching the video on his phone so his co-worker made it for me. I'm truly disgusted by the lack of customer service and pride that is put into the work your employees show. I will not be returning to that location for an unknown amount of time. I hope I can find a different location that might actually give a crap about the service...

I arrived at the store and asked for my favorite ice coffee mix. Dustin walked me through the drink mixing process to be sure that it was made exactly as I wanted. Dustin was very peraonable and treated me as if he was inviting me in his home. At the end of making my drink he asked me if I wanted a straw, and I said yes. While handing me my drink it slipped and tumble onto the floor with some of the coffee getting splashed on my shirt and shoes. This is when the bad reviews come, spilling a drink on a customer normally turns into a bad review. Guess what, Dustin gets 5 stars from me. He showed his sincere dedication to treating his customers right. I assisted him with cleaning the mess and told him not to worry about it. I am a sales manager and I know mistakes happen, its how you treat customers up until the error, that counts. Dustin is 100% a great ambassador for Starbucks. Not only does he know how to treat customers, he does it with a sincere heart and a kind smile. Promote this guy, he is very professional and ready to...
