I visited this Denny's location tonight and wanted to share my experience, as I have always been a fan of this establishment. During my visit, I ordered the Moons Over My Hammy with seasoned fries, along with a milkshake and coffee. My boyfriend ordered his meal with a stack of pancakes and a hash brown on the side. While our main plates arrived in a timely manner, there were several issues that detracted from our experience.
First, my milkshake was forgotten, and when it was finally brought to our table, it was quite watery and resembled straight milk. Additionally, my boyfriend's pancakes were also forgotten, and when they were finally delivered, they were cold and difficult to cut, even after adding syrup. We decided to eat them anyway, but the quality was disappointing.
To add to the experience, I had to remind the staff about my coffee, which, unfortunately, was also watered down. We were genuinely excited about our meals, and it was disheartening that the quality did not meet our expectations.
When we finally got up to pay we were charged little over 60 bucks which i thought was weird but we paid for it regardless, once we got our receipt none of that was what we ordered, so we paid for someone else’s order entirely. Luckily we were able to speak to a manager who gave us the refund and then we paid for what we actually owed on our order.
I’ve attached pictures of pancakes where you can see the line where he tried to cut into, and the milkshake which is foamy and watery.
I hope this feedback is helpful, and I trust that it will be taken into consideration. I look forward to visiting again and hope that this was just an off day...
Read moreI wanted to give praise and mention Diane.
From the moment we entered Denny's, Diane stood out as a beacon of exceptional service. She embodied everything one could hope for in a waitress: attentive, efficient, and an absolute joy to interact with.
Diane's approach to service was a breath of fresh air in today's restaurant scene. She was remarkably attentive, ensuring our needs were met before we even had to ask. Whether it was refilling our coffee cups at just the right time or offering menu suggestions tailored to our preferences, Diane was always one step ahead.
Her efficiency was equally impressive. Despite the busy atmosphere, she managed our orders and requests with a speed and accuracy that didn't sacrifice the quality of service. We never felt rushed, yet there was never a moment of unnecessary waiting.
What truly set Diane apart, however, was her infectious positivity. Her genuine smiles and friendly conversation added a special touch to our dining experience, making us feel truly welcome and valued.
In an era where genuine, high-quality service seems to be dwindling, Diane shines as a remarkable exception. Her dedication to her role goes beyond mere professionalism; it reflects a true passion for hospitality and customer satisfaction.
In conclusion, Diane is not just a waitress; she is the epitome of what excellent service should be. We left Denny's not only satisfied with our meal but deeply appreciative of the experience Diane provided. She is a true asset to Denny's, and we look forward to our next visit, hopeful for the pleasure of being served by...
Read moreVisited Denny’s on Ross, came in expecting just some casual Grub, we were wanting our regular server as he has done us immaculately well on our previous visits. Unfortunately we got stuck with Miss Mcchatty, she talked mine and my husbands ear off for 10 minutes before even ASKING what we wanted to drink. We got waters so it’d be an easy dash to grab, although she insisted on spilling the tea about her arch nemesis from MATH CLASS! ( Girl I’m 32 years old, highschool drama is in my rear view mirror )
By the time we got our food we had been inside for about 35-40 minutes. I needed a few things, but couldn’t seem to get our servers attention although she stood at the very next booth rambling about the same story she told me and my husband. ( with a few more additional foul language )
Dennys is supposed to be family friendly not a drunken sailor bar where high schoolers are allowed to swear at their customers.
Still to this day I have not recieved my ranch for my SALAD ( Who forgets the salad Dressing? ) especially when she’s the one that offered to make us a salad “ On the House “ “ comes with the meal “ ( oh hunny we got breakfast slams ) figured since atleast it was offered we’d take it but I’m pretty sure a salad doesn’t accompany breakfast very well.
Overall food was great, can’t say the same about Allissons service. ( Maybe some more training will subdue )
I don’t think we will be returning anytime soon, unless one of the male servers are on shift. They seem to be the only ones with common sense in the...
