Ridiculously BAD experience! One excuse after another for BAD policies! Just another high profile seller who cares very little for customer satisfaction and more for the almighty dollar! Not against a business making money, that's why they exist but, screwing customers through deception for the sake of sales is a horrible way to do business. Buy 3 get 3 free Christmas Sale was a TOTAL LIE!!! I NEVER RECEIVED ONE SINGLE FREE COMIC for this sham sale. When I called in to complain, I received a bunch of runaround type excuses for not getting my books. Online customer service was terrible and I am being kind. The auditor (Alicia) should be fired! She is a horrible person to deal with. Sarah is nicer but well trained in excuses as well. She actually told me I was receiving 37 free comics for the BOGUS Christmas sale and was obviously lying to me. NOT customer oriented in any way. They will lure you in through clever email marketing and sales that are bogus, in order to use (your hard earned money) to finance their overhead/expenses. Meanwhile, you wait....and wait....and wait...and wait for your order to arrive. When you finally receive it, you realize you've been SCAMMED. This company uses USPS tyvek envelopes (free items but are meant to be used properly via the postal service) to wrap your orders. These envelopes are free and are being misused by this company. Geez, a company this big cannot afford to buy these similar tyvek envelopes from wholesale packaging companies???? What does that tell you????????? they are $20.00 for a pack of 100 at most distributors. $20.00 freakin dollars. C'MON MAN! Avoid their sham sales or buy at your own risk. Selling a book for 100 dollars at eBay prices at release. And dont gurantee a grade. When there competition r selling the same book for 50 raw and gurantee nm. Better yet 20 more dollars competition gurantees You a 9.8 GRADED .. i got basically robbed..i trusted too much and thought this was trust worthy store but i was proven wrong. Ill take my money else where from now on guranteed.. ive had many shipping errors. With them over the years.. sent wrong orders...waited a year for books.(they didnt help with these issues either but i lived with it) But this takes the cake. Preordered something April 10th with a release date of May 30th.
Got a basically canned response on email twice since my 1st contact on July 8th saying that they were sending the order to the shop to be worked on. Still Nada. Have emailed them 3 other times with basically same canned response Hello, "Thank you for reaching out. Your email has been received and we will look into your question and get back to you as soon as we know more. Please understand that this could take a while. Thank you for your patience."
Got a response on Messenger on July 26th stating they were held up in "customs". Since then I have asked 3 more times and finally got a response on Sep 9th: "As soon as these get unloaded they will be processed. We apologize for the inconvenience as we have been extremely shorthanded because of con season."
Still no reply's to my follow ups. They obviously care ZERO for their online customers and only are concerned about going to Conventions. I will not be ordering...
