I gave one star, because the building is still standing . What is happening to I-HOP? We have been to 3different I-HOPs in the last year, Dodge City Kansas, Victoria Texas, this one close to home I-40@Ross St. We had been here about a month ago, it wasn't great then, so we thought we'd give it a try again. It was even worse, all of the crew was breaking in room to the right, they looked at us decided who's turn it was to see what we wanted. As we walk through the left side dining room at least 6tables needed to be bused. Several tables were occupied, only two had their food,( surprised our table was clean not sticky), we along with the others were waiting to order, receive food or to pay . When our turn to order came,he ordered 55+Rise and Shine,2eggs, hash browns,2pieces of meat & toast. He received 1egg 1bacon 1sausage. When they took it back in it had 2meats 2eggs& toast, they insisted that it didn't come with hash browns . My my 55+ order French toast (4 triangle slices) 2meats with a butter ball, what I got,2meats 2triangles of French toast and Hash browns, we were tired of arguing, I shared most of my hash browns. What we received tasted like it should, but was very cold by the time we got to eat, which may have taken 6-7 minutes. Total time spent (We did not have anything to do so we decided to see where this would end) 1:15+**. This time was enough for this location in, it's gone 👇 Way down 👇 since Ç-19. We're told that it takes so long because they only had One cook. Another strange thing, the cook came out and locked the door when more people were showing up. A couple of the tables of customers walked out. When we jokingly talked about what was taking place, the words, held hostage, was our first thought . We even checked on our way out of it's still a 24hour establishment. We let the cashier know we're not happy, this was when she reminded us they only had one cook... Sorry. We paid the regular price for our Two 55+ meals so in the long run we only were missing 2triangles of French toast. The same dirty dishes remained on the tables + the ones left as we ate. All the employees kept disappearing, one gentleman would get up and hunt them down, until he left. We will try the other location in town before we give...
Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE EVER!!! Three of us ate and it was over $50. No big or extra things were ordered. It was dirty. They got 2 orders wrong. I had the 2x2x2 and the waitress substituted the pancakes for 2 of what they call "biscuits" and a cup of gravy. I only ate half of one "biscuit" and was putting the rest in a to-go container. This is when I noticed the green stuff all over the edges of the 2nd "biscuit". I was grossed out! A second waitress said it was most likely avocado. I'm allergic to avocado. The first and second waitresses were apologetic and asked what they should do. I said to take off my meal from the tab. They said they had to wait for the manager, who was cooking, to be able to do that. Ok, sounded like it may be a thing to have a manager override. We then waited 20 minutes and the waitress came back and said, that the manager should be over shortly. At this point, my husband and I were just done!!! We had been on the road for 12 hrs and were just tired and wanted to turn in for the night at the hotel. So we just went up to pay. The manager met us up there, after another few minutes of nobody being at the front desk. She took off $3 because I had eaten 1/4 of the first biscuit. I said that's not acceptable. She replied, if it was so bad why did you eat some of the first one??? I explained it was green side down and that I had not seen it initially. She said, well that's all I will do. My husband was so tired he said "f" this and just pay so we could go. I told her that she was awful and this was absolutely a terrible way to treat the customer. I asked for her name and she just walked off. The poor little waitress just kept apologizing over and over. We let her know it was absolutely NOT her fault. I asked the waitress what the manager's name was and the meek girl looked around her and very quickly said, Crystal. We thanked and tipped her then left. Crystal's appearance, demeanor, and overall vibe were not management material in any sense of the word. I will be calling corporate to complain also. No, I am not a Karen, I just want to be treated with respect and...
Read moreMy entire experience was quite awful. We ordered 3 Double BLT sandwhich meals. A tea a coffee and a water with those meals. My Tea was old, cloudy and nasty. The sprite I had to replace the tea was flat. When our meals came out the BLTs had no mayo on them, the toast was dry and overly cooked, the lettace slimey and inedible, and the bacon dry and over cooked; There were also no tomatoes on the sandwiches either. We had notified the server that we were staying at the days inn next door and we were informed we'd get a 20% discount. we did not realize this included substandard food and service. I had to go request for tomatoes as well as then ask for the managers name. The manager came out to see what the issue was, and the one plate that was untouchable due to the lettace being extremely slimey and old looking & tasting. She informed us that we would have that meal refunded. We had already sent the server the money. our bill had come out to 21.43 (3 Blts 6.79, 2 drinks 1.95 + a 20% discount @ 4.65) when the server brought the "fixed" reciept and the change of 2.55 she was asked where the rest of the refund was and could not explain. so we asked for the manager again. the manager had not given the discount. Plus has some how STILL shorted us nearly 5 dollars. She then came back with a 2 meal free card (hand written on a business card) asking us to return. Also, the store was quite empty only one other table was full at the time of our leaving the store. the manager was Kayleigh. This was, by far, the worst experience we have ever encountered at any restaurant let alone an IHOP restaurant. Plus the waitress kept 2 dollars from the main reciept. then they refused to give us the original OR the correct reciept. did not want us knowing the names nor the...
