Beautiful store. Had a bad experience. Been here twice before, no such issues
Came in today, at 4:30, its a Saturday they close at 5 Im like ok Im cutting it close but its fine.
When I walked in I was the first person and I let a family go infront of me because i was deciding still. So I grabbed a menu and went to the back of the line. I then went and grabbed a reusable cup thinking i could get it filled up.
The family is gone its like 4:45 (I know long time, but its a beautiful store and I was enjoying the ambiance like geez) and Im told that I could not get any drink with brown sugar boba because its a two hour process to make it and they "Don't have time" to make it as the store closes at 5.
My issue lies with the fact that workers let me sit there and decide what I wanted without informing me that they were out of brown sugar boba, which is the only reason I come. If they would have said they dont have any before I reached the counter I would've promptly left and came back monday. Kinda soured the store for me. Its like taco bell letting someone come in and decide for a while and then theyre like sry no meat. I would've liked to knkw that upfront. Like thats the whole reason I came? So I left with nothing.
I would also like to add that my previous visits have been in late afternoon, not this close to close ~6:15 on weekdays and have encountered...
Read moreI initially heard good things about this boba tea from a friend. Walking in I really liked the decor and overall aesthetic. Wooden floors and blue textured walls along with granite tables gave it a very premium look. There was also a "social bubble" room in the corner highlighted by a neon sign which I thought was a neat idea. The girls who took my order were very friendly and gave me recommendations on their different milks and blends, so I chose the swifty drink. It was very milky and light on the sweet side, and it changed colors after shaking it up to represent the different eras! I initially struggled with the mixing, but one of the girls noticed and told me to flip it upside down and it blended right away! I liked the fruity flavors in the swifty drink, but I wanted to try another. So I got the snickerdoodle drink and it was much better! It had a creamy consistency so it wasn't as fluid as the swifty drink. The cookie flavor was very present and there was a perfect amount of boba. It was sweet and tasted like a dessert! Definitely will be back again, overall a...
Read moreI am a regular customer at the L&B My go to drink is carmel milk tea made with oat milk and earl grey. And I like the tapioca bubbles in mine. Just the fact that they can achieve this level of culinary diversity in the world of boba tea in my estimation sets this place apart from the rest. The other thing that keeps me coming back is the quality of the ingredients. They make up there own boba, they brew their own tea and fresh bake their snacks. The gluten free almond cookies are the bomb. As if that weren't enough The owners hire high schoolers often giving the young men and women their first real job. Risky, granted, but their commitment to community involvement makes the risk worth it as far as I am concerned. Finally while I have Personal bias in favor of this business - my daughter is one of the owners - i have visited the other tea shops in town. L & B's commitment to Freshness and quality trump them all. Try it. If I happen to be in the store your...
