I am new to Amarillo. We have passed by here several times on our way to the store. Since my husband and I are epileptic we do NOT drive. Today we decided to eat here. It is over a mile walk to get here and over a mile to walk home. We wanted to sit down and order a pizza to eat. Unfortunately we were told that we cannot do that and if we wanted to eat there we would have to pay for the buffet (I only eat 2 slices). I am not going to waste over $20 on a buffet or get a pizza to go for about the same price but it will be cold by the time I walk over a mile home with an outside temperature of 44°f. I feel like we were being extremely discriminated against for our health and because we do not drive, and because of my age I felt like she was forcing or attempting to force me into ordering and paying for an amount of food I would never eat if I wanted to sit in the restaurant. I felt very unwelcome in that establishment. I truly hope she never has to feel the public humiliation of getting older just so some young ",manager" can laugh at her as she watches her leave knowing how much effort was put into attempting to go out to eat. Oh well so much for that place! I guess I should have listened to my husband when he suggested...
Read moreCame to Mr. Gattis tonight, after about 10min here, I got an alert on my sons card for the purchase. I happened to glance at it and went huh. Money had been added to the total. So I went to talk to the assistant manager (she was standing at the counter guys I didnt ask for one) she was standing talking to the girl who checked us out. Her excuse was, the carda haven't been batched out yet. And then tried to explain what that meant. Now, I know exactly what it means, I deal in CC transactions all day. The only overcharge I ever see is with a debit card buying gas, or hotel rooms at bookings. She wouldn't even look at me. She then said, well if its still on there tomorrow you can come back up here and get your money, lady what if I didnt live here? I have ish to do. I dont have time to dive across town to get $8. I know it's not that much, but still my 13yo wanted to buy dinner and game time for his sister, myself and him. Its HIS $8. If you have 100 ppl eat and 50 use a card. And you "accidentally" add $8 to everyone. Cause you know, theres a tip spot. How much is that? Anyway I'm not happy, even if it was an accident, I still dont wanna take the time to drive over here tomorrow. My only...

My biggest issue though was the arcade. We had multiple issues. The snow ball game didn’t count any balls out into the receptacle giving 0 tickets. Multiple games were shut down and the usual arcade games like the clown beanbag game only had 1 bean bag to throw, or the ball rolling game only having 3 balls. Essentially meaning each would time out before you can score many if any points. Many games were also missing buttons and light.
I love arcades but with all of the issues I had multiple kids saying that they were upset by I already spent the $40 per kid for games. This was not worth it and was disappointing. I truly hope they get the games fixed and the supplies for the games restocked. It has a chance at being a good arcade again but right now 3 is all I...
