Iâm so glad we tried this place out! If I looked at the reviews first before trying it, I wouldnât even try this place because of the reviews! I would honestly say that guy at the front was kind of hard to understand, Because he has a different accent, And the menus weâre abit confusing but once you get how the deal works it itâs easier to get the best deal. Basically the best one I can share is The âeat all you canâ deal.Itâs i only $23 ,Theyâll give you a sheet that you can check and submit before they make your order. You can get as many as you want but you must finish what you ordered first before you order another one. Once your order came out youâll have to finish them first and then ask for another fresh sheet so you can check which ones you like and order again. For $23 I was able to eat a full set of Crunchy Roll, Hawaiian Roll, Dragon Roll, Oriental roll,Siomai,Gyoza,Tempura, Miso soup!Itâs so cheap!!! , And at the end of our meal I was asked if I wanted a dessert, Itâs FREE!!! I had a green tea ice cream! It was really good I had 3 serving, We already paid but they didnât mind me asking for another cup. I will surely come back to try out the other rolls.
Edit. From 5 star to 1 star So when we first ate here, the guy who owns the business helped us and we had a great experience. We tried it again after that We ordered the unlimited, We got served once but the lady I guess she didnât want us to order more so she didnât came out their kitchen anymore after servicing us one round and itâs taking them forever so we just ended our tab.
We tried it again the 3rd time because we want to give this place a chance,We ordered a eel roll and it was bad, we asked if we can changed it The lady came out and told us it wasnât , she showed us other eels and made us try it again but it wasnât good, Sheâs like forcing us like she didnât want to admit it was bad. Anyways, like what happened last time we ordered a unlimited but they only came out after serving us one time If thatâs the case they shouldnât call it âunlimitedâ. Anyways, for 1 round of 6 pcs of roll thatâs very expensive. Last chance was we asked for a our free ice cream and she came out we the gallon and showing us it was hard to dig, so in the end she wasnât able to get us our ice cream.
We never came again after that experience. I think we gave enough chances.
I also want to add that I asked for a spoon one time and their assistant came with a couple of utensils that are uneven, It took him so long too to get it and you know what he gave me? A freaking big scoop!!! And heâs not asian, He is a white guy so obviously he knows what spoon is! Heâs playing with us!
I guess they also got comfortable because we came 3rd time that they didnât used their good bowls and plates anymore because they served our food with whatever plates they could find in their kitchen. Please hire a better employees.
Very unprofessional and inconsistent service. Never...
Read moreLooking forward to the Sushi Express since it's arrival. It's Amarillo, finding a good sushi restaurant that has fresh sushi is really difficult. Typically, I would go to United Market Street off of Georgia Street. It fresh and tastes pretty decent for the most part however; the meat portions are small.
My first and last visit to Sushi Express happened a few weeks ago. I ordered the Vegan Roll, no meat because of Lentđ. All the vegetables in the roll were fresh and crunchy. No complaints on the food.
The problem that I have is what I witnessed during the making of the roll. Let's get into it... During the checking out of another customer, I witnessed the (what appeared to be the owner and/or manager) walk over and place his finger in the wasabi sauce and fill a to-go container for the customer. This is after coughing on his hand ,behind the counter, and before he washed his hand. These are not appropriate actions in a restaurant.
Needless to say that I did not eat...
Read moreMe, my son and daughter-in-law went and we all had something different. But we all got food poisoning from there. The rice wasn't cooked all the way. It was still hard. The shrink was us overcooked so much. It was like eating a rubber band and yeah, my daughter-in-law had 2 bites of her Noodle stuff and ran to the bathroom project. Darling, and we were fine when we walked in. The waitress was rude young. She couldn't tell me what was in the seafood Fried Rice. Besides the shrimp, and then it was, it wasn't on the menu because they have new ones. Um, I went to go check on my daughter-in-law in the bathroom. Past the table that hasn't been cleaned off yet. You still have plates and dishes and stuff on it with food on them, and we were her first customers, and it was yeah like three o'clock and so like I, it's been three days and i'm...
