I have visited Whataburger all over Texas and Arizona. As we left Texas, this was our very last Whataburger stop. My family really enjoys the burgers over any other burger establishment. As soon as we walked in we felt as if it was a bit of a hostile environment, as we made our order we realized for ourselves why that was. At the register was a very rude and arrogant person taking our order. She did not give us or anyone after us the normal greeting, that was a red flag. When we where ready and walked up to the register she did not make eye contact or even asked anything or a polite greeting. We asked for the kids menu as it was not where we are used to seeing it. She did not say a word and simply pointed with such an arrogant look. I brushed it off and simply kept observing her, under the impression that we were singled out. That was not the case, she was rude and at least twenty people walked through the door before we got out order. She was like that to each and everyone. Our order was brought to our table by the manager Brianna B. . I address out concern about how she treated the customers, the manager told me her name was Amanda. That she appeared to be like that to all. I did not say anymore since they seem to be aware of her behavior. I will address it here, if Whataburger is still a family restaurant owner and operated. And this employee seems to be rude to all and creates a hostile environment why is she still employed. Perhaps it is because most of the traffic is travelers as we where and will probably never see her again. Regardless one should walk in to a Whataburge and and fell welcomed not like a Burger King or Mc Donalds. Not sure if they have a good logistical system, but they did used snow cones as a number system. This...
Read moreTerrible service. When we first pulled up to drive thru, the lady, Mosha, tried to talk to us but the background noise inside was really loud, we couldnt understand each other. She got our order to the beat of her ability and we rolled up to the 2nd window and she stayed that her co workers were being loud so she confirmed our order. We paid and when she gave us our receipt it was totally different than what she confirmed. That and the fact that the workers there were being loud and unprofessional is ridiculous. We were barely able to hear her and it affected her being able to take our order. We are currently sitting in the drive through and we could see her doing something else completely (washing the trays). She didnt respond at all when I started the order was taken wrong, just took the receipt and closed the window. Mosha just came back and gave us the fixed order, but didnt refund us the difference. We had to sit in the drive through for a good minute before she came back. When we told her, she tried telling us a Whataburger, a simple Whataburger with no additional things on it, is the same price as a Patty Melt, a Patty Melt!!! We had to tell her that that is not true and had to convince her that there is a price difference. She then asked if we really wanted a refund cause she'd have to get a manager if we did, which of course we did. After about 10 minutes we got our refund. What was supposed to be a quick 10 minute detour ended up being a 40 minute detour because of the incompetency here. At no point did we speak to a manager or were given apologies about the confusion or anything, and it wasn't like we were being mean or rude. Would never go to this whataburger again, ever. Food was terrible and we werent offered ketchup...
Read moreStopped here on a road trip since it was the only thing open in the middle of the night. Needed to get food for my toddler so i ordered a chicken tenders kids meal. Asked what the drink choices were and they said milk or soda. I Asked if they had juice.. They said no. I looked at the menu and it said they had lemonade so i ordered that. Got to the window and it was open.. It was 2 young girls working. One girl was on her first day and the girl training her was treating her very rude. The window was open and she was telling the new girl to tell us there was no lemonade. So i asked if they had juice... She didnt know. The "trainer" girl said they had orange juice so i asked for that. Drove 1 minute down the road to my hotel and opened the bag within 4 minutes of ordering it and the chicken was ice cold. Not fresh. Disappointing since it was for my toddler... And there were no other options at this time. Wasted my money and time. And honestly.. If this store reads my comment, that girl should not be training anyone. She's rude and was making the new girl feel uncomfortable. It was like an awkward experience .. Very weird. I suggest she be retrained in...
