I dont so often give the 1 stars. But when the service is bad it's a 3, If the food is bad it's a 2, and if both is just not in favor or flavor... well then you guessed it, not a chance to spend money again at said establishment. With a 4.4 you think at least one main topic of restaurant etiquette applies. When none applies, this just is a rude awakening. Just like breakfast shouldn't be a RUDE awakening. It should be an addition to the overall beginning of the day. Now any bafoon can cook an egg, put it in water, in oil, watch for over cooking. If Ramsay was eating this burrito, it wouldnt be much of a pleasant experience but it would be pleasant to hear the level of commentary. Without further ado, any bafoon can burn food, and it doesnt take much skill to care of nothing but yourself. So tell me tapatio, is there a difference from cooking from yourself to cooking for another? I suppose even free, I wouldnt allow such a joke to enter my tastebuds. In the end, I understand why el tapatio was and is named like the hot sauce. Because you'll need to soak it in first, to perhaps enjoy the vinegar and spices, almost how vinegar helps with other things. Like a stain on the carpet. Well a stain of my mouth was just the same. Dont hate the players, hate the game. And frankly your game isnt even making playoffs.

Service isn't that good, they all run around everywhere and no one comes back to ask if you're okay or if you need anything else. That's my only complaint because the food is awesome! Their breakfast burritos are MASSIVE and start at like $2.99 (I think, it was super cheap) and go up from there based on how many ingredients you add. I had potato, ham and sausage with egg and cheese and my burrito didn't even break $6. It's phenomenal too! And all of the sauces they bring to the table are extremely good along with their coffee. It's hard to find somewhere that has incredible tasting coffee and they nailed it. Definitely returning!

Well let just dive right in, environment was good not busy like I thought durning lunch time which is a plus but when I got seated I got acknowledged by my waiter and told I would like Dr Pepper, saw her going back and forth without my drink, had to ask another waiter. Customer service was plain. No joy of working nor did she even check on our drinks or asked if we needed anything. Besides that the chips were good but the salsa was tomato-ish….wasn’t to my liking but the queso was great. My dish was a torta, I couldn’t finish it. Something in it tasted off. I wouldn’t come back here at all. Just my opinion and experience.

Are here Sat 11.26.2022 7pm. Place was about 25/30% packed.

Waiter ruined our Saturday evening for us. Waiter took another order after us, yet the other people got their food before us. This particular waiter appears to only care about looking good.

He didn't come back to check on us to see how the food or see if we needed refills. Watched him worked and he went back and checked on tables with same ethnicity as him. I felt discriminated.

We had to go to the person bussing tables for a togo box.

Went to go pay and he was jacking around talking to the kitchen personal. Already upset with the lack of service and then he had the audacity to make us wait and pay.

On top of that he hit us with a credit card service fee which was not posted else we would have paid cash.

Had the same waiter two weeks ago and he didn't hit us with a service fee for credit card use.

This is the same waiter that took one of my coworkers food after she ate some and realized it was wrong. He was going to give the same plate to another patron till she said he should replace the food and he said - Do you think they would mind? My mouth dropped when my coworker told me and she was in shock that he consider it.

The highlight was the gentleman bussing tables had brought my Yeti cup to us as we were leaving. I had completely forget about the Yeti due to the poor wait service.

Love the atmosphere but it isn't worth it to have such a pi$$ poor waiter.

Thank you again to the person bussing tables for being an upstanding individual and letting us know we forgot our Yeti. Watched you work and how you were pilote to people. Your compassion, honesty and work ethic will take you...

We previously enjoyed frequenting this quick and relatively authentic taqueria that has good service. However on our last visit in October 2015, our fish was undercooked with a small portion actually raw. We didn't complain and understood that sometimes this kind of thing just happens. We neither asked for our money back nor for a replacement. I informed the waitress discretely, but she offered neither an apology nor reassurance and to our surprise just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. I asked for the the manager to inform him because I wanted him to be aware that his cooks had served an undercooked fish. Coming from a background in food service myself, I would appreciate discrete information like this in order to keep the restaurant safe and to ensure quality. He however seemed annoyed and agitated at us. Instead of offering an apology or reassurance that it wouldn't happen again, he charged us full price and complained about us eating around the raw parts. The bill was inexpensive and we enjoyed the fish regardless, albeit a bit al dente. But this kind of treatment from management is a poor reflection of El Tapatio's standards of service and is concerning for deeper issues of basic food safety. Please use judgement when deciding to eat at...
