Widow's Peak Distilling Company — Restaurant in Ambler

My fiancee and I just did a side by side taste test of Widow’s Peak vodka, Grey Goose, and Stolti Elit. We did a tasting straight up, mixed into an espresso martini, and mixed into a pineapple martini. The Widow’s Peak and Stolti Elit were clear winners, and at roughly half the price we would put Widow’s Peak in first place. We’re seriously considering returning the vodka we purchased for our September wedding and replacing it with Widow’s Peak.

When we tasted the spirits in-store, we could tell the gin was top notch too, so we will soon be comparing that to our current favorite, Plymouth.

We’ve visited Widows Peak a few times already, and tried most of the cocktails on their menu, and I must say that every single cocktail has been delicious, well balanced, and a strong competition for any other cocktail lounge...

WOW…Absolutely love this place!!! Great atmosphere and even better drinks. It is my new favorite bar. We have been there the last two Thursdays and now it’s our new regular spot. The drinks were outstanding and so was the food. Staff super friendly and Nick the bar tender served great drinks. Had an espresso martini and Bees Knees. Both really good. If you are looking for a place before or after dinner, this is the place. Go there once and you will be hooked like us. My wife said it looks sexy. Feels like a Philly bar right...

This place has soooo much potential. I have frequented quite a few times. I'm not sure if it's the set up or because there is no real sit down bar but the flow is not the best. I haven't gotten the same bartender twice ever and staff seems to rotate often. The drinks are actually delicious and well balanced. They switch them up seasonally which is nice.
