Excellent pizza and service! This place is easy to miss of you're not looking for it or stopped at the railroad crossing in your car, as it is in a little tiny area that is blocked from view by the surrounding buildings and structures. That said, you should definitely keep your eyes peeled because this place does it right. The staff are very friendly, and the cozy little storefront has a real authentic pizza parlor feel. This isn't a big chain pizza factory churning out precision engineered processed pizza food product, this is a down home, hand made, good to the last bite pizza shop. They have a pretty good selection of slices available, including a few more exotic combinations of ingredients/toppings if you want to try something new. Big taste, tiny place. In the cozy borough of Ambler, PA next to the train Depot, The Pizza Box has an assortment of fresh from the oven pizzas most everyone will enjoy. All fresh ingredients. Buy by the slice or whole pies. Round and rectangular pies available. Hoagies ( a Philly name for subs) hot sandwiches, Angus Burgers and of course Philly Cheese Steaks are made fresh on order. It's a tiny store with limited seating. I had the classic cheese steak with grilled onions. Perfectly prepared on a toasted long Italian soft bun. Fountain soda flavors included Lemon Tea, Barqs Root Beer, Orange, Coke and Sprite. Bottled beverages include juices, soda, lemonade and teas. Fountain refills are free. $10 minimum to use a credit/debit card. Prices are moderate, service fast and friendly....

Outside of New York, I ( we / You ) are fortunate enough to get this place so close. Great pizza that exemplifies the meaning and taste of what pizza should be. Hollywood names to the specialities give you cute names, but it’s the food will have you calling Pizza Box in Ambler over and over again. The large cheesesteak Stromboli will feed a family of six easily, but you might not want to share? The Elton John consists of breaded chicken breasts, provolone cheese with broccoli rabe on a amoroso roll and is one of my favorites.
