I went to this restaurant with my wife and family yesterday and decided to order some birria, asada, and Al pastor tacos. As I was enjoying my birria taco, I bit down on something hard and had to pull it out of my mouth. I thought it might just be a fluke, but then it happened again and this time, I accidentally swallowed it. It got stuck in my throat and made for an uncomfortable night. I even made an emergency dentist appointment for the next day worried that the splinter would hurt my throat if I wasnāt able to get it out soon. Luckily I was able to get it out. Turns out, it was a wood splinter and it seems like the cutting board they used to prepare the meat may be past its prime. Normally, I've really enjoyed their tacos - they're a good size and usually packed with flavor - but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. The chicken and al pastor tacos were as authentic as you're gonna get, whether in Utah or if you're in Mexico. This is the real deal folks! You can tell this is a family-owned business that takes pride in the quality of food they serve.
The inside needs a facelift and decor needs to be updated just a bit. However, I LOVE their salsa bar and the quality of the salsa and toppings to your street tacos are top-notch! The cashier was friendly and my food came out...
